Also if you have some time, some stores sell exdisplay off cheaply.
And, ahem, if they have a dent in a place you won't see it when you fit it, you can probably negotiate a further reduction.

You know you can have a free TEA....doesn't have to be coffee
I do have a t in the cafe but Ive only done the takeway once and I spilt most of it walking to Mum's. Also like the free newspaper as I am trying to give up the Daily Mail as my son who is a journalist constantly berates me for reading it and it gives me a chance to read the others.

Just did Face time with my sis in Geneva she is having an op tommorow to fix her knee and will have bone taken from her hip and have the knee pinned and a plate fitted. She is on her own and quite frightened and in a lot of pain. Please can you all have her in your prayers tommorow. Be glad when its this time tommorow evening. My brother and his wife are going tommorow for a few days ( they were going anyway) but he isnt very tactile or sensitive to others but at least she will have a family member there. She said she will only take a call from me or my other sis in the morning.

    And lunch:D

Ham hock and Wensleydale pie in puff pastry with homemade chips and garden peas:)

    Delicious

The good thing is that we must have used £20 worth of diesel getting there and back:cool: ( Helping DS move house)

Beautiful sunny day and quiet roads but the A19 was closed at Thirsk.

There must have been a terrible accident:( We were stationary for nearly an hour) But kept amused by the girls in the coach in front running back along the dual carriageway to a narrow lane behind us.....no idea why they were in the bushes......but maybe it had something to do with their hen party sashes and the probability of mucho alcohol consumed.:rotfl:
Most of them were in hot pants and sky high shoes which were extremely muddy when they ran back past us:rotfl:

I can't imagine the scene had the traffic started moving :rotfl:

We had just started to relax as we joined the M1, when we were met with overhead warning signs declaring "Slow down. Animals on the road." I was expecting Jumanji:eek:

Fortunately not and we arrived in one piece:)

I understand there was a fatality in the accident you referred to yesterday :(.

I need to buy a nice bottle of gin as a gift so if we have any gin drinkers with some good recommendations I would be greatful :)
