Evening all - had a lovely day with my Sis plus DS and DD. Meant to do some serious shopping - well Sis wanted to but ended up in a pub by the river for a long lunch.

We did pop into Shoes on the way back and picked up Xmas wrapping packs - 4 rolls paper, tags and ribbon for 40p each. Then the heavens opened with real icey rain  poor. Sis - it's been a couple of decades since she has experienced a British winter! Headed home for nice cuppa and a warm up. :rotfl:

Had a nice surprise from Markies - £10 off no min spend with combined nicely with my other Sparks offer :T

Off to book hotel and flights to Dublin now - popping over with Sis to catch up with my Mum's :A little Brother and Sister and no doubt will come back with a load of Irish sausages and black & white pudding.

Hope you are accumulating loads of points in Sainsbobs. xx

Apart from the rain it sounds like a lovely day Rockie :D. I love black pud and white but can't get it here in Suffolk :(. I need to go home to get some when I get my stotties from greggs :D xx
There's no place like home :)

Feeling down? Weak in body? Makes no difference to me, I think of you all when I'm sitting quietly.

Hugs and healing thoughts are always going your way.

Just join with say your 2nd name and add a child ( real or imaginary ). I got my DD a 2nd card in her 2nd name and added my Granddaughters name. Took 5 mins.
I have 4 advantage cards ( one in my first name, one in my 2nd name, my husbands and one in the name of my friend who went back to Italy to live.

Saw a program where a bloke down south was campaigning to get stotties sold in greggs more southern stores. Not sure if they did eventually trial it or not.

:mad::mad::mad: not had it yet, we used to go every xmas and New yr:T:T:T

We used to go every New Years when our two were young. For a few of those years we stayed at a fab hotel at St Johann in Kitzbuheler. They still send us a Christmas card:A

At New Year, people used to carry their own fireworks - rockets and bottles to put them in - around in backpacks. They would just light them anywhere....right in front of you sometimes. It terrified me:eek:

    But great memories nonetheless :)
