Do they know how long it will be off?
At least until later tomorrow, but IMHO they need to dig a few holes to get where water has settled and pump it out, THEN reconnect houses individually.
My monthly fuel usage in winter is £70 split £40 electric and £30 gas, roll on for over six days and I will probably get compensation to cover the year :D

M&S have the best loos though.

Our local SF store has a massive single loo suitable for access and babychanging. It also has a full length mirror, which oddly is on the wall to the side of the loo. Most disconcerting the first time I went in there, glanced sideways and discovered a sight I'd never seen before. :rotfl:

Thought I would do a short list for newbies and myself, it started to get longer
Still loads to go into it, maybe should try and organise it and make it as full as I can....

    Some of BH’s rules
The only silly question is the one not asked.
Always remember that retailers treat muggles (normal shoppers and sometimes Elite) as fools with prices bouncing up and down, just go to mysupermarket.co.uk and look at the graph for prices and the yoyo effect is astounding!
Quoting one of our adversaries “ Every penny counts” , savings mount up. A spreadsheet tracking savings can be fun.
Use by date to be stuck to. Best Before Date, if it’s cheap it is edible. I have found Poundstretcher gets a lot of job lots of Best Before food at good prices. You can never know what they will have or when, worth popping into regularly.
Wombling is good, Sada can provide some lovely APGs, even Tosco can at least let you see what may be a bargain elsewhere or things you can buy there with Conditional spends.
    No question is stupid.
Picking up receipts/pennies/McD cups with stickers still on them/a paper with a known MOC inside, is not embarrassing, it is sensible and it is the muggles who should be ashamed of being muggles.
Free samples, grab as many as you can carry, food samples, go back a few times.
Free Metro paper can have GREAT Money Off Coupons, never take one! Take a handful!
Same for store magazines, Tosco and Mr Shoes can be the best.
Always collect the MOCs even if there is no glitch to use them on, it may appear. ALSO don’t bin them until they expire.
Never leave home without a supply of MOCs, just in case.
ALWAYS have a large stock of toilet roll.
If eating out, ask for water NOT expensive drinks.
Take-away food/fast food, always carry small bottles of cheap soft drinks and save a fortune.
Sachets of sauces/salt/peppers/sugar, grab them. I haven’t bought sugar in ages, have jars of sachets in cupboard, also ideal for going on self catering holidays.
    Even serviettes are good hankies.
Adapt your body clock to have poo time at work and use their bog roll.
In a hotel at any time? Always take the tea and coffee in the room daily, so they refill them, same for toilet stuff. They are there to be used, but in my case, use it later LOL. My no no line is towels etc
Breakfast at hotel “all you can eat”? take bag(s), it is amazing what falls off your plate into bag. Butter, jam, continental pastries, rolls, cold meat, cheese etcetera. Lunch sorted!!
Charge everything you can, they give you electric for free.
You have to pay for internet at digs? Go and park in fast food car park and hook up.
Having a fast food treat? Sachets again, McDs collect loyalty stickers left on other tables.
Disneyland Paris? McD about cheapest food there, BUT, outside there is a filling station where you can buy goodies and drinks, can’t remember where exactly.
Not allowed food into funparks or attractions or cinema? HOW DARE THEY! Can they guarantee that their food conforms to your religious needs (refuse to say which religion((elite)) ) / Allergy to many things / strict Vegan/ diabetic and needs to eat certain foods at specific times. “Are you being racist/religious bigot/sexist…… is it your company policy to insult people?” works well.
No question is a silly question.
Haggle, all they can say is no, or the bonus is that they will.
Split your shopping into two, one where you have targetted savings or comparisons and another for stuff that doesn’t.
Own brand can be as good as branded stuff
Water down detergents, we always use too much anyway.
Have a stash of toilet roll.
Install Apps that give freebies/discounts into every phone in house.
    O2 priority moments is great!!
Don’t get complacent, always check for deals and bargains.
Insurances/large purchases/any contracts for TV/cable/phone Do comparisons and check cashback
NEVER buy through comparison sites, they get a cut of the sale.
Don’t depend on cashback, sometimes it doesn’t pay out.
Freeze what you can when offers on, buy a 2nd/3rd freezer when you can afford it.
Gonna buy something? Do you need it? Will you use it? Is it value for money or just a status symbol? Wait a while to cool off and think it over.
    NEVER trust BH
    Stockpile toilet paper
When low sit with your stash and feel good, unless toilet rolls are less than 30!!

    :T:T:T:T:T

    I have two confessions.

    1. I 'acquired' a large loo roll.... it's purpose was to make a halloween decoration.... it ended up in the bathroom.
    2. When we stayed in a nice hotel last week for £25... with some cashback... we went swimming... when we got home OH emptied his swimming bag and there was a his shorts wrapped in a hotel towel! :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl: Rather nice towel... too far to return it!

Why do we all have loo roll anxiety!
Go and park in fast food car park and hook up.

This one is particularly good if you've been out since early and want to log on here to see if a glitch is still working before coming home.

I should maybe rephrase the "hook up" ;)
Your right about "log on" they also have toilets with bog roll :rotfl:

They also have power sockets.... if you are totally out and need a quick boost... or are indulging yourself with a Mc.

    :D:D:D

It is rather horrid. We had the wall above the sink/cupboard mirrored.... yuck!

    yes 3 cats not 3 children :D

The 3 children have abandoned us so these are the substitutes - less demanding and less expensive than human childten :rotfl:
