You can tell that I've given up on Frugal January can't you:)

    Couldn't resist these in S.

    £2.25 for 4:T:T

They are nice and thin like proper china:)

They are lovely. I found a new loo brush and light pull earlier this week (sadly before my gc arrived), white china with thin wavy blue stripes. Look fantastic in my bathroom.

Hello everyone . I am back! I had a lovely weekend with Mum and lurked on here a bit but didn't get a chance to post much and when I got home RL kicked in with a vengeance :wall:. So I'll try not to miss anything out but I just wanted to thank everyone again for all their support. I realise now that I was struggling with the aftermath of a bug last week as I've loads of energy today and even managed to make some mini Christmas cakes – which will be Easter cakes now! Remember those Mary Berry Christmas cake packs we got a few years ago? I've still got a couple left and they seem to be fine.

Wendy, I am so sorry that you are having such a terrible time. Sending you lots of hugs :grouphug: – hang in there. Work seems to be behaving very unprofessionally and I am glad the union is helping.

Hornetgirl, I think you might be on holiday – I'm operating from memory here. But I have said a prayer for you and hope you are as peaceful as possible while you wait for your appointment. I am sorry for your loss too.

Sarahdol are you still in a huge amount of pain? Thank goodness it wasn't a heart attack though!

Miss Corrupted, I thought you opted for something else instead of the Instant Pot? Did you find a good recipe to wow OH with? Sorry if I have missed the update post.

TM, thank you for the Optiwell voucher. Remember, everyone, that if you have a gmail address it works the same if you put googlemail instead of gmail and you can also add as many full stops as you want in the middle of your email address. Website sees it as a different email usually and it just arrives safely in your inbox. Not sure I will use Optiwell but will put them in the T food bank.

aau, you are an angel :A. Thank you for the FB link to the TCB fiver. I couldn't get it any other way. Thanks everyone else for the advice re the bingo. I am very apprehensive about doing it but will have a go on the 'win some, lose some' basis. I've done very well recently with trains as I should get the 1000 Nectar points for a train ticket I needed to buy. (I did it in bed at the 11th hour so thank you to whoever pointed out it was about to expire or I would have missed it.) I have also been delayed badly on three journeys now so have had a lot of cheques under the delay repay scheme. So will try and be brave with the bingo.

Bubbs, enjoy the new car and congrats :T on being two years off the ciggies. Did you say that you bought the car with what you saved on the ciggies, or did I dream that? Enjoy your home, too, when you get back.

And thank you to the OP who posted about Mr Shoes and his kind shampoo offer. I was in London this week and happily walked from one store to another collecting mags. I had Mum's ad card with me too so managed 2 per branch. Must spend them on shampoo now -- I can see a visit to the T Centre coming up.

If you've persevered and read this far, I have some good news! I didn't post sooner because I didn't really believe it would happen, but it has. You know those British Gas emails giving customers rewards? I missed the recent bottle of Prosecco but did get a very small box of chocolates before then. Well I must have clicked a link to enter a draw and to my utter astonishment I got an email telling me that I had won a £500 (that is not a misprint!) S gift card. And it came this week. I have never won anything before (except at school years ago a bottle of Martini which embarrassingly I had been selling raffle tickets for :rotfl::rotfl:). I keep looking at this lovely silver card. I find S very expensive so I wouldn't be surprised if I end up using it for fuel – they are often the cheapest.

Sorry for the long screed and many apologies to anyone else struggling whom I have missed.
    Well done on your gc:T:T
Well it was savings and smoking money would be about that i guess :o(for 2)
