Well, you couldn't make it up.

Hermes came and delivered duvet number 2.

No, they couldn't take duvet number 1, as they don't do collections, that is another courier, possibly another courier for Hermes, but not this one.
Fair enough.

So I opened the box with duvet no.2 in it, and it contains an identical duvet to duvet no.1, which is of course the wrong one....

When I have a spare hour I will contact A/zon CS again.

But for now, I have two great clunky boxes in my hallway. It's a small flat and even putting up the ironing board can make you feel a bit short of space, so this little episode now means my hallway has reached critical mass.

Plus you have put me off placing an order tonight as I was planning to order the silent night 13.5 tog using my shopm vouchers!

Gutted in mr t the sa refused my conditional spend coupon because I had an item of clothing with my shopping!
He referred to the t+c on the reverse and they now say not valid when buying F&F....... anyone else had problems??

afternoon all, AWOL all day

we are expecting overnight visitors again - no we are not running an exclusive upmarket B &B before anyone thinks they need to ring HMRC :rotfl:

But I think we do need to get a tripadvisor review with 5 stars

Beef casserole is all ready to go on and dumplings are made in readiness for later, if they think I am doing any dessert other than ice cream sundaes they are going to be sadly disappointed.

Just been shifting wine boxes around under the stairs and I've come to the conclusion that we have finally drunk the last bottle of free cidre :eek: - I don't know how out of date they were but nobody died drinking them for the last 6 months
No Old Moth either so we might have to start whittling down the wine stores instead ....

Is your receipt "clean" enough to do a return?
Not many MOCs about anyway.
I've managed it once but I've been waiting for more cashback items to get from Mr T, thinking it might work again if I have lots of different items on the receipt

It was very clean but think I will keep them.
I did ask to see sv when the new sa refused my 6 off 40. She did authorise it this once. So in my head I will use that to pay for them.

It is annoying.

I decided to go for it and contacted them straightaway after posting. So yes, it's taken almost an hour as I thought, but there's not much satisfaction in being right.

Anyway, the outcome now is they have withdrawn this particular feather duvet from the website seeing as there have been so many problems. (I now suspect I am not the only one this has happened to.) So you should be safe with Silentnight. Just don't buy anything called Nightflight!

The outcome for me is that both incorrect items will be collected by DPD on Monday. And moreover, within a one hour time slot that I will be emailed in advance.

DPD have already emailed to confirm collection Monday.

I will get a full refund.

I think we are getting there now...

I'll be buying a duvet from Dunelm I think....
