I've finally decided how we are going to celebrate my parents big wedding anniversary - I'm having a small family gathering of the surprise type at my house :) I guilt tripped my brothers into not having any choice. They've been told that they are giving me £'s for food, but of course, me being MSE there'll be lots of lovely food and change :rotfl:

So now into all the planning for this one before I do it all over again on a much bigger scale in a couple of months for my big birthday
That will be lovely, how is your mum getting on?

Thought the cathedral looked impressive in the background. Would like to visit again but not for the Christmas market, it was total chaos.

Lincoln is a lovely place especially up around the Cathedral.....Xmas market...:eek:......That is a nightmare place to be....:rotfl::rotfl:

Which anniversary is it? If it is the diamond (suspect it might be gold?) you can get a card from the Queen.

Went there about 15 years ago, enjoyed it. Very hilly though. Windy too if I remember rightly.

After the humping is all said and done do you now devote your time to pies??
Does your new role also give you rights over mushy peas??
