A few years ago I went to a huge birthday party for one of the UK's most eligible batchelors

    I didn't see you there...?:rotfl:

Correction: sorry, I thought you said "one of the UK's most illegible bachelors"

  • Has anyone ever approached a company for sponsorship? I'm trying to find an email / phone no for someone at Sony that deals with marketing /sponsorship for students. On their live chat some, they suggested LinkedIn? To me that just looks like a lot of ambiguous job titles, where in reality they probably work on the shop floor and don't have much clout. :o Just want a loan of one of their camera's for my Final Major Project. I know one student did get in touch with Hasselblad and they loaned him a very expensive camera and sent some people to attend the end of year show!

Speaking from experience of being at the receiving end IYSWIM:wink:, Twitter is a much more productive way of approaching companies - it makes your interest public, and much more likely to get a response (even if negative); person-to-person contact, via say LinkedIn, is easier to ignore. Try @SonyUK, and good luck:T

What a good idea, standing the bleach bottles in the wine carrier.
My shopping is just thrown in Willy nilly.
    Must try harder.

    It was staged :o :rotfl:

The other side was a bit willy nilly with what else was in the boot. ;)

I have used those wine carriers for all sorts though, I always make sure they are in the car to stop glass etc rolling around, usually they lay flat in the bottom and I just put stuff on top of them. :o
  • Why do some fingernails grow quicker than others?
But it's never the same fingernail each time.
I'm convinced they take it turns to have a growth spurt, just to baffle me.
Tonight it's the turn of the right-hand thumbnail - an hour ago it was fine, and now it looks like one of Satan's deadlier digits.
And the little finger looks like it wants to join in...

Oh and I did mention it last week those were the bleach bottles with the winter spice fragrance that are 50p each. :money:

It's Sainsbobs own thick bleach and the bottles are more of a purple colour than my pic shows.

DM... can you introduce the batchelor to PD please?

    :D:D:D:D

He would be far far too old for PD now.

Well, went to sainsburgs, the shelves had been ransacked, but managed to get the last 3 bottles of somethign for £2.84 and got 3 bottles of nice stuff for £4.

Picked up my 5 freddos, but when I was scanning them, sods law, one of the ones I picked up was a bladdy popping candy one, but it wasnt all bad.

    A) I think I will prefer the popping candy one,
and b) *missprice alert!* It went through the till at 3p :D
