I've just been told last minute that some old family friends are celebrating their Diamond Wedding tomorrow .......they were old next door neighbours when I was growing up.

I've managed to locate a whistlefish anniversary card but wish I'd had time to make a fruit cake for them. :o

remember the cirio 4 pack of chopped toms (£1.50 less 30p PYO less 90p GJ)

I'm a bit over run with tin toms. :o I got loads of the Paroli when 6 packs were RTC in Ts, and then got 12 packs of toms from As RTC, we don't seem to be getting through them particularly quick. And says very quietly I have not even signed up to GJ :o

I have however added the 475g chicken wings and 3/5 chicken breasts that are half price and they work out 74p and £2.66 pack. The Aberdeen angus 15% fat mince £1.79 and the Carex 56p.

Just over 11 so £2.20 an hour, money well spent to attend one of my cheese and wines. :p

I have nuts this year too. :D The ones you crack yourself. ;)

I know ....wish I'd known earlier. I've been told on good authority that they have everything they need and want for nothing......in a nice way.....so it's pointless just giving something for the sake of it.
I might offer to take them out for a meal. Giving an "experience" is more thoughtful I think:)
