Afternoon, OMG, its so windy out there.sarahskint wrote: »I've been going for quite a number of years and I found last year quite hard going! you used to be able to actually have a look at stuff, now everyone seems to go in groups and clears everything in 5 minutes so you have to just grab and hope for the best! I know from the last 2 years that the same people will be selling it all at the booties from easter!!
i'm taking the husband this yearhe is in charge of the bags, in charge means walking fast back to the car with them while I carry on and see if anything is left lol
I find it awful that the staff let them swipe the whole shelf in to a trolley, its not fair, because you know they are ebayers, it should be limited to 2 items of the same thing to stop this.Has anyone returned an online order to Debenhams recently?
Can they remember if they needed to input their PIN for CC. We don't actually know it.As never use card out and about. I usually take things back and get gift card as it is in Mr TS's name but as I ordered two of a dress for sizing and think I might return the jacket too it is a significant amount.
Yes OH did recently, and just had to put card in not no.
Pacifica, sorry to hear your troubles. Get your CV out there before it gets to the panic stage.0 -
Thanks Arthien. Changes are not afoot until April so it gives me some time to get my house in order. ie. my panic will come to the boil slowly rather than all at once. :rotfl:
Sending positive thoughts!

Just got back from very windy Liverpool. Had a meal in Zizzi there was very nice too. I had a spaghetti carbonara and a hot chocolate pudding with runny chocolate inside and a scoop of vanilla ice cream and a soft drink . My bill came to £13.40. Once they had worked out what to do it worked fine. No mention of a £5 code after though.
My soft drink was a can of sanpellegrino worth about 50p but there was £2.79:eek:. I wouldn't pay for it though. The most I'd pay is £5 which I've been paying in Pizza Express a couple of times over Christmas with the 02 code for a main meal and was just as nice as the one I had today.:)0 -
It is blooming windy too - 43 mph at present  and been like it all day and set to go through tomorrow as well
Did you go in by train Emerald? Just wondering if the work on the lines has finished or if they are still putting people on the bus for the last bit?“All shall be well, and all shall be well and all manner of thing shall be well.”0 -

It just came in by email - mine was in junk folder - I know others get them so it's worth a look.
Not transferable otherwise I'd give it away.

Good morning Elite.
Hope everyone is warm, happy and well. Hugs to those not so.
Finished work at 8pm last night and back in again at 7am today. If that's not bad enough, I now find company restructuring means I am likely to lose a significant number of working hours per month. A quick calculation shows my monthly earnings would be in excess of my mortgage and utility bills by £1.55.:eek::eek:
Thats terrrible. Could you claim some type of benefit.
We are having a pay restructure at the moment, luckily the are so disorganised its been over 2 years and they have had to push it back another few months againI have dyslexia, so get used to my spelling and grammarMortgage pay off date 11/2028. Target 12/2020 :rotfl:
