Savvy, you have mentioned only ever paying 50p for Cadbury Selection boxes all year round - where are you buying at that price please? The medium (158g?) are around £2 rrp and the best non-rtc offer of the season worked out at £1 each in T (90p in A with apg). They are only in the stores near us from August/September to when they clear in January too not all year round?

    Thanks

In some M in the country. They don't clear completely in January, they clear much much later than that (even if they may have cleared, or appear to have cleared, from almost every store by the middle of January). They are not 50p all year round but surely must be that for the majority of the year? I ignore RRP:rotfl:. I've only ever bought them on RTC. Last year they were available from M until at least April and possibly July (BB date was July so must have been at that price until then). I am not saying that they are generally available but I found a single M in the country that had some in April and successfully purchased one at 50p - as items "never" truly clear, I've taken it that they are available somewhere (that may have lost one in the storeroom and found it six months later and then put it out onto the shelf) and notionally remain at 50p until the new season starts (with new stock since BB dates would have expired) and they appear in stores more generally and are then higher price! Given the situation on the Creme Eggs and Jacob's caddy, the last of which either appeared as new stock somewhere or else was stock still left from the previous year, and was reported to be its 50p clearance just before the start of the new season, the selection boxes could arrive early at one place and still be on their previous year's clearance price before they appear days later more widely and the price is changed to the high price for the season. The Creme Eggs were £1 until today or yesterday when they've now it seems appeared in stores generally:( - I do not know whether £1 was their clearance price from last year, but it probably was.
