3 for 50p in M. (How can Mr A come into stock of them on a.com again without me noticing? I shall be moving them from M to Avs M - I'm still on two weeks' ago straight 20p M price:o.()) (Should never have had them on the list at 20p in the first place, if M later decides to put them onto better pricing.)

I love my tree too, especially with its new 100 lights that I bought for it this year. Also I've worked a lot this fortnight so I haven't really had the time to relax and enjoy its presence in quite the same way as usual.

So mine is staying up till next weekend. :D

I have come up with a compromise. I need to cut the branches off to get it out of the house anyway, and it will take a few bin collections to get rid of the bits, so I have removed my more precious ornaments, and cut all the branches off the first couple of feet at the bottle. Thats a bin load, so I can do the rest on Friday when the bin has been emptied.
I thought it was bad luck if you don't take them down on twelfth night:(
Yes, meant to be, which is Thursday I believe.:o

ooh never thought of that. ............goes and Google's ringtones :D

You can get some nice ones that run to DVRS, the ones we fitted in the clients were about £1000 each and several hundred for the DVR. In all honesty though it might be worth having a look in Maplin, they do the Swan systems that are not bad for the money, not sure of the range though. Get hold of the right person jn a Maplin and you wIll get good advice.

Most of the ones with DVRS have motion sensors.

If you have to cut branches off to get it out, how did you get it in?

Squeezed it through the door while it was still in its netting.

I was going to ask that, but I am guessing it was netted.

We put our tree out on the patio until I get chance to burn it along with the raspberry canes and anything else woody from the garden, then put the ash on the compost.
