Morning all
It would seem that I have made the ultimate rookie mistake and I should probably consider handing in my elite badge
It would appear that I have allowed my home insurance to auto renew
I can't log in to my account because they apparently don't recognise my email address - they recognise it enough to send me emails though! To be fair, they did email me a month ago but my mum was about to go into hospital so there were things that were more important
And their blimmin call centres are closed today ...!I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the Health & Beauty, Greenfingered Moneysaving and How Much Have You Saved boards. Hopefully you may be in the 14-day cooling period ?
I nearly got caught out one year but fortunately I had lost my bank card and was issued with a new one and the 3 digit code on the back changed, so they were unable to take payment. Only when they were chasing payment did I remember. I had already done the insurance with another company.
I noticed the auto-renewal on my last house insurance and I emailed them and asked them to remove it and they emailed back confirming they had done. Now I try to remember to send an email soon after renewing house, car and holiday insurance.0 -

I'm on the phone to my bank now who hopefully can stop then taking the payment.
I'll b straight on the phone to the insurance company in the morning though - I'm not having it!
My bank have put a stop on that merchant so that makes me feel better

Various choc bars (Galaxy/Cadbury’s/G&B/Lily O’Briens/Teasers) 2 for £3.00
https://groceries.asda.com/promotion/2-for-3/ls87561
Best comparison is Galaxy - £4.18 v £3.00 Tesco/Sainsbobs/Waitrose
Maltesers Teasers £4.00 v £3.00 Tesco/Waitrose
Lindt bars should compare to Tesco 2 for £3.00 offer. £3.98 v £3.00.
G&Bs would have to buy in 6s for small APG. Should compare to Tesco/Waities 3 for £5.00 offer. £11.40 v £10.00
No good comparisons for the Cadbury bars and Lily O’Briens only sold in Asda.
http://www.mysupermarket.co.uk/asda/bundle/661178_1807373.html
Schwartz packet sauce mixes - 85p each or 4 for £2.00.
https://groceries.asda.com/promotion/4-for-2/ls87416
Most compare to Tesco’s 2 for £1.00 offer. £3.40 v £2.00 :j
Check on mysupermarket for comparisons – the Indian range not on offer in Tesco.
The Rogan Josh, Balti & Korma on offer in Morries 4 for £2.00 (as we know Morries offers not always reliable)
http://www.mysupermarket.co.uk/asda/bundle/661216_1738788.html
Capri Sun £2.98 or 2 for £5.00
https://groceries.asda.com/promotion/2-for-500/ls87769

http://www.mysupermarket.co.uk/asda/bundle/661186_1906175.html
And all depend on whether prices drop after update. Unlikely the offer showing on SELs in most stores so check what item scans through till at.
The Galaxy choc gives £1.48 back on a £3 shop. That's £1.52 for 2 bars. 76p each:T
The Schwartz offer looks good v T.
£1.60 back on a £2 shop.
4 packs for 40p:T
The Capri suns give £2.36 back on a £5 shop
£2.64 for 2 packs:)

Trulymadly - your whoopsies are amazing. Don't know how many yellow stickers are on your mince! Tip - always keep your wraps in the fridge. I guarantee they will not go mouldy. DD has put them in the freezer before now and said they are not very nice when they come out. I have been good and resisted going to asda for the whoopsies for the last few days. Seeing you mention a trifle reminded
me i have a whoopsied one left from christmas which i think is still lurking at the back of the fridge - use by dates what are they?
Forgot to mention. Yesterday in A there were loads and I mean shelf fulls of Finest Indian snacks...various and Finest Ham in Seville orange glaze....look out for the purple/ blue packs all dated today. I know it varies from store to store but might be worth a look:)
Thank you for the tip about the wraps mattyTo do is to be. Rousseau
