I am black and blue but the worst was to come. As I tended to my bleeding elbows my phone bleeped and they had cancelled my return flight and rebooked us for the following day via Madrid and ending in Heathrow.
We had to accept as had hardly any internet, then had to go to a local bar to download online boarding passes (x4) . I was in such a state when we travelled back as could hardly walk .
We finally got to terminal 5 after six hours and were told to make our own way accross London and claim on the BA site.
The parting comment was the best, don't spend too much as you only get about £20 each !
