I am also a spreadsheet obessive, Ive been keeping various ones for about 5 years.
I see them like a security blanket esp when things get very tough.
For instance when my car died one November, weeks before we were going on holiday we had to go car shopping and we found the exact replacement very quickly. The money had to come out of slowly aquired savings so the grand totals took a nose dive - with the help of the spreadsheets I could see that financial ruin was not imminent, that we could cope and bankrupcy was not inevitable and eventually 6 months later things finally started to take an upturn.
Without the spreadsheets I would have gnawed the ends of my fingers off with worry.
Indeed mhoc. Having been made redundant twice, and fretted about losing my house, I find it helpful to know now where I can cut spending even further should I need to.“Life moves pretty fast. If you don't stop and look around once in a while you could miss it.” ~ Ferris Bueller0 -

. I haven't been into town doing actual shopping. Needed to pick up a card as it's DD2's birthday tomorrow but got that in M as couldn't face the sales
Does anyone know anything about one4all cards please? DH found one on the floor outside a shop today, I checked the balance when I got home, it has just under £15 on it. Must have been a Christmas present for someone as it was activated on 23/12. Do I hand it in at the post office? Is that where they come from please?
One4all are bought at the Post Office and at various other stores I believe (like Viking) - however, I am not sure that you would achieve much handing in there asa it may not have been bought from them? You could check at stores near where you found it, though they could have been shopping anywhere. Or you could hand it in at a Police Station - if it is not claimed after 28 days I understand you can claim it.
