Evening dearest Elite. Another laxy day today for me, just spening time with my Big Sis and BiL in Wallsend. And my Neice and her fella popped in just now for a natter too
A TURNIP, and that's what we use to hollow out for Guy Fawkes Night - and darn hard work that was I can tell ya :eek:
And the little white ones, are called White Turnip. Big turnip is very very hard and difficult to cut, whereas little white turnips have much less density, so can be peeled and cut easily, plus make a fair substitute for potatoes on a diet
So sorry to hear your news fernie
Never heard of that for a turnip (swede:rotfl::rotfl:) turnips, the real turnips are horrible:rotfl:Sealed pot challenge number 003 £350 for 2015, 2016 £400 Actual£345, £400 for 2017 Actual £500:T:T £770 for 2018 £1295 for 2019:j:j spc number 22 £1,457Stopped Smoking 22/01/15:D:D::dance::dance:- 5 st 1 1/2lb :dance::dance:0 -

Bowie was my musical hero but I think the death of George Michael has really hit me....maybe it's an age thing I don't know. Or that he died alone:o
Inevitable rumours are circulating about his recent addiction to heroine. If the romours are true, I hope the people who supplied him can sleep soundly in their beds tonight:mad:
Alan Rickman was the one that got me this year
