Glad to finally put my feet up, not had much time to keep up with the thread lately, a group of us have spent the last 9 nights walking alongside a Santa Sleigh visiting all the streets in our area, we have raised a whopping £1471.95 for St Benedict's Hospice in Ryhope and made a lot of children and adults very happy. They loved climbing on the sleigh and having a selfie with the big man. Managed to to get my hands on 2 Hatchimals so decided to raffle them in aid of Stray Aid and a local little girls fight against acute Leukemia. It really made my christmas when santa hand delivered them to the lucky winners tonight was great to be part of it all can't wait to do it all again next year. My last task tonight is to wish all the elite a very Merry Christmas and have a wonderful day tomorrow wherever you are:xmassign:

This is lovely shogun....so much more than a kind gesture....9 nights:eek:........you gave up a lot of time and raised a fabulous amount of money......you can have my mince pie and glass of sherry.....it's well deserved:A

You can't beat TOTP 2, Christmas special.

I'm still waiting for my lot to sleep before santa arrives.

The only thing I've sorted for the dinner tomorrow is cooked the gammon and steeped the peas. Hey ho!

That makes me feel better. To be honest we don't eat until late ......and once we start we don't stop:rotfl: I cooked the turkey today to get it out of the way and cooking the beef tomorrow. So really I have loads of time to get the rest of the stuff done.

You've all set me off thinking of my favourite glitches and I can only think back to the summer.....yes it's my age PD:rotfl:

    Fabulous hg:T:T

Has the telly been rubbish tonight? I've been in the kitchen but wasn't tempted to sit down and watch anything:o

Peter Kay's been on and Mock the Week on Dave, We cheated and went out to the Cinema to watch Rogue One. Three generations of us (from 19-80+) all loved it.

Merry Xmas to all the people who have to wait up for Santa

  • It's Christmas Day!:j

Have a great day everyone and I hope that you are thoroughly spoiled with all your presents. The best present for me is getting all the family together and spoiling them with all the bargains collected over the last year, courtesy of the Elite - so thank you all:T

So sad to hear of the death of Rick Parfitt at only 68. Saw him several times with Quo and he seemed ageless.

    Happy Christmas:xmassmile

Yes, I've had the same confusing double emails....one with the Amazon voucher and another saying they could not process the claim...totally confused!! Will just wait and see if anything arrives tomorrow for today's wins :o

Their system seems to have had a wobble as duplicate voucher emails received (same code) and therefore seem to be missing one, yet on another claim I have two vouchers and definitely only one claim on that email .

I know I have been lucky but stil not clear how lucky :D.

I am potentially back in the game after my APG error ... can I have my Elite badge back please?

Bl1pper stopped working on this promo at precisely midnight :(.

Gone but not forgotten, a great promotion whether winning once or more than once .

The printer we discussed the other day is back to £35 in Curry's:

HP ENVY 4524 All-in-One Wireless Inkjet Printer

Includes 5 months free ink (don't forget you can get more through recommendation).

We will have to see if QC come up with any extra cashback too :).

Awww, thats wonderful, I didnt realise you were so local to me.
Happy Christmas everyone, have a joyous and healthy festive celebration. :xmassmile

M&S had so much food on the shelves with best before/ use by dates of 25/12/16 and non of it reduced. The stuff they had reduced was only by 10%. Was told it is their policy to do '1st level'reductions only and throw away everything rather than reduce it further! Such a waste.
    Was 50% off in mine.
