Saved £220 today - well, have deferred it to a few months away at least.

Dealership who did service early last month advised me re tyres, quoting £220 to have it done there and then. This was for three (I recently had a new one due to puncture.) So today, feeling bad as I had not had them done, I went to a tyre place to order some new ones. They very kindly had a look before ordering and said they aren't even near the halfway mark yet and to go back in another couple of thousand miles. :D

Do you have a Cash for Clothes nearby? I've never had anything rejected except for a tablecloth and that was because they don't take household linen...

such places seem to be rare these days, we had several, but they all seem to have shut down

there are some online companies that send you a bag & collect it free of charge, but they are mighty fussy

Need someone to give me kick up the behind today. :o

Lots of things to do, one is to locate where I can now take clothes to be recycled, ones that are no good for charity. Used to be a clothing bank in the free car park near the Boots I collect orders from. Had the stuff in my boot ready but the clothing bank has vanished not even a gap for it anymore, just utilised as more parking.

I'll kick you if you kick me TS ;)

My sons' school has a clothes bank in the playground, I think they make a bit of money from it but not sure. Worth a look if you have any schools nearby.
