Noooo, I left just before the first term of Upper VI as the bank offered me a job. :D

It was exciting to be at work, well, it was for about a week. :D

In my defence, the 10 pack of St3lla just jumped into my basket for a £10 Shop Small transaction :o. I don't know why, I will be drinking C4rling for a loooonnnggggg time.

I have given "a few" C4rling away and still have "a few more" () left to keep me going in case of nuclear attack.

It is a fantastic promo - strangely I have not had Edam for many years so this may be time to get re-acquainted :).

Has it happened to you before ?
I noticed someone else said that some of their items scanned twice in their shop but luckily it was noticed and corrected at CS. Wish I had noticed :(

HS8C account opening update - applied end of October ... over 2 weeks later, they finally wrote to say I had to go to a branch to prove my address/identity (strange, I have a mortgage with FD and am very well established on all credit reference agencies!),

Went into branch a week later ... and then again a week after that as they would not accept some of my ID :(.

Two weeks later I received a letter saying they had accepted my application :) but wanted proof of signature :(.

Nothing for three weeks .... then they want security information returned by post.

No account opening information, yet card arrived yesterday.

Account switch not even started yet so will be delayed by Christmas :( (not to worry, it is a donor account and I am patient :D).

All this for £200 (£150 after the switch, £50 in a year) - boy have I earned it.

I would have to say they are the most incompetent bank for opening accounts. Contrast with BoS - opened instantly online, appeared online that day, card arrived 2 days later (okay, I do have H4lifax accounts, but still ... I have FD so am already on the HS8C system).
