Afternoon all - wished I stayed in bed :rotfl: at T's for 10.30 browsing trolley filled apart from one item, tubs of spearmint chewing gum which are never on the shelves as apparently people nick them
Have had a couple of gift vouchers in the past when I complained as it takes an age for someone to get the key to the lock up where they're kept. Was doing a Brand Match shop against As so wanted to include them. Long story short Manager went to get them and bought back the one with the holder attached which more expensive but as I had waited she put them through at As price :T
Put my trolley shopping through went to pay and SA checked my receipt as DVD cake had scanned twice so back to Customer Services to same Manager to get refund. Got home and realised I had left the DVDs behind on counter.
So back down to T's to collect - picking up some more Ocean Spray and some Sheba catfood half price.Hope Pix likes it.
Anyway just wanted to say T's picking up As 6 for £24 wine deal - handy if you have any conditional spends sent out recently - goes nicely with the Hipps and Ocean Spray sparkling.
DVDs are to record the Xmas programmes to bring down to Oz as my lot miss the UK TV and we definitely want to escape this dreary damp weather so fingers crossed the BA strike won't impact on our travel plans.
Must say Tweets our Poppy looks proper smart in her Xmas jumper luv her! 😘

Several years ago at Christmas, we all went to my sister's house
for the traditional feast. Knowing how gullible my sister is, I decided to play a trick
on her....I told her that I needed a card taken to a very nice lady who lived down the road. She had always been so kind to us at Xmas and during the year giving us treats as kids...
When my sister left, I took the turkey out of the oven, removed the stuffing and stuffed a poussin
and inserted it into the turkey, and re-stuffed the turkey. I replaced the
the bird(s) back in the oven.
When it was time for dinner, my sister pulled the turkey out
of the oven and proceeded to remove the stuffing. When her
serving spoon hit something, she reached in and pulled out
the little bird.
With a look of total shock on her face, my mother exclaimed,
"Susie", you've cooked a pregnant bird!"
At the reality of this horrifying news, my sister started to
cry. It took the family two hours to convince her that
turkeys lay eggs!
Yep..................SHE'S A BLONDE!:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

Few people moaning on FB last night that they had their reward declined for their meerkat toy when taking out a policy with comparethemarket. I remember having my claim declined (received an email) and thought oh well there must have a reason it was declined, this was back in August.
Anyway I checked my policy last night and sent them a private message on FB. They've just replied apologising for the confusion and my meerkat is on its waySarahdol75 wrote: »My son has decided he wants to get a picture of him and his girlfriend put in a frame for her for christmas, anyone know where I can get it printed from his phone ASAP.
