I've had a brilliant evening. A quiet house, maps, notebook and pen ........and the Amex small shops list:D

I've discovered if you put a street name in search you find a lot more shops.
I put in Grainger market and found another 5:T

My list is ever growing. I've found 2 extremely posh butchers, a fishmonger, a whole food shop and this one which looks so exciting...I can take my own bottle in and they will fill it with the very best Greek olive oil for under a fiver.

I won't sleep tonight:j:j

Tell me about it! 9 hours on the flight plus an hour delayed at the airport, combined with travelling up to gatwick late the night before made for a very, very crabby me when we got there and I wasn't in the mood for queuing for an hour at the airport when we got there, to be faced with the most miserable guy at the desk ever and then getting yelled at by another one because we stood in the (apparently!) wrong place once we'd got our cases and were waiting for the rest of our group :mad:

Not the welcome to America I thought we'd be getting :rotfl::rotfl:

I might email my Daughter in law about the small shops Amex thing. She is charge of their marketing. She works for their marketing agency so I know she knows about the campaign as we discussed it last year.
Anyone having problems pm me and I will pass the comments along to her.

it will,not let you compleat visa with out a u.s. Point of contact address and phone number

do a dummy run and you will see

if you say that you are just passing through in transit to another country then no address required

yes this is where i am getting stuck as i have no further information to put in those spaces with the red asterisks so i can't continue with the form she is going with the school so looks like a call to them first thing tomorrow!! Thanks everyone for your help x
