anyone able to help with an esta application daughter going with school to new York feb, one question on the form says


Is your travel to the US occurring in transit to another country?*


any ideas what this actually means? if I put no it wants loads of info I don't have and if I click yes it doesn't want any info - if I muck it up she can't go lol any help please x

I would read that as if you are visting enroute to somewhere else, but not sure

I would read that as is it a stop on the way, such as are you flying to New York but then crossing to Canada and not hanging around in the US.

thanks that's the same as I read it, they are going from heathrow to the jfk airport and then 5 days later coming back, i'm really confused by this etsa form and it needs to be done with 48 hours.
