  • Thank you for trying to explain this, but it really is something that I just cannot understand!

Good morning all, can I jump in here to say re. affect and effect - affect is an action taken and effect is a result of that action.
On another note, I have had 3 amex refused shops and 2 none existant shops credited to my account.:T:T

I should be ill more often since I've been confined to bed some one else has taken over role of dishwasher, made the Xmas cake and cleaned both of the the secondary glazed lounge windows. :T

I can never manage to lift the secondary glazing out anyway last couple years I can't even slide it open just too heavy  roll on next year when new windows are planned, but then the cleaning might fall to me. :rotfl:

I've had couple rich tea biscuits too as fancied something sweet so I guess in hour or so I will know the verdict. :o

I am not so sure it has been tested as they are quoting mysupermarket but it seems it will be ok to brandmatch as only Sainsbobs seem to stock it at £2 xxxx

Thanks.... four now..... there is fun to be had.

I wonder if the 2 of us can go on a slap up meal, and ask for the bill to be divided by 4 ....:D:D:D:D:D

    Worth a try.

Good Afternoon all . I'm off to see Sully at the cinema with my sister and then next door to pizza express for a main and free snowball doughball for £5 each off 02 :)

    :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: Afternoon all.
I now will combine the "e" and "a" to minimize the @ffect.
What a good idea. Perhaps this is the solution the world has needed! :T:T
Some people never learn. I was talking to someone who I often talk about 'better' ways to shop with. They mentioned that there was now an Argos in one of our local Sainsburgs, so I mentioned about the £5 vouchers that the till were giving out.
They said 'Oh, I think I got one of those', so obviously I asked if they used it, or still had it, 'No, I threw it away, there was nothign I wanted at Argos'. AARRGGGG!!! Madness, a free fiver, even if used just for batterys, thrown away.
    And breath.
