There are a few Elite ladies that now qualify.
The state pension age has already been moved twice for me so far so its unlikely I will ever get a free mince pie in Morribobs.
We are all going to turn into Peter Pans, ladies who will never grow up enough to qualify for state pensions or free mince pies
Thank goodness Q and Mr Kipling took pity on us last week“Create all the happiness you are able to create; remove all the misery you are able to remove. Every day will allow you, --will invite you to add something to the pleasure of others, --or to diminish something of their pains.”0 -

3 cartons of sweets for £5.00 inc heroes, roses, jelly babies, wine gums & liquorice allsorts @ Morrisons

Yes, I saw these - about £1.67 each, but I took no details as my guide price is under £1. We need some damaged boxes:rotfl:. I suspect the £1 (actually my guide is a precise 98p:D) should be even lower as it's probably based on last year's higher-weighted versions or something like that.
I'd be telling people to revert to Aldi's Dominion version, although they are not as cheap as they were but they save far more money than overbuying three cartons of branded stuff at M and of course I've never told any difference. As for Liquorice Allsorts, it's the 500g bags for £1 at Poundland. I thought they were Poundland own brand but they are not, as Poundstretcher also probably have them for £1 (they did have a few weeks ago). More likely for me though, I'll be going for my 19p 350g:D Haribo Wine Gums bags that I picked up earlier in the year - very shortlived store specific reduction in M, probably priced in error and available for less than one hour on one specific date only (I took as many as I needed and then came back for one more 'just in case' but found the remaining bags had been removed, probably by a staff member).0 -

1x Paxo Sage and Onion Stuffing Mix Twin Pack (380G) £2.00 £1.50
A V M
1x McVitie's Victoria Biscuit Collection (650G) £4.00 £3.00
1x Magners Original Irish Cider (18X440) £10.00 £10.00
It very much looks like this McVitie's Victoria Biscuit Collection has now gone back up to £4 in M, so best be quick and quite probably need to beat the price collection.
The Magners may be, or have been, a bit of a glitch as I have £12 price for this in M (last Wednesday and now). So, I don't know where they have got the £10 price from, unless the product has sneaked onto £10 and only stores other than ones I've been visiting have shown the offer.
EDIT: M.com now showing £4 for the Biscuit Collection and valid until 27th December 2016 - claiming "was £5" but failing to state any duration during which that 'was' price was valid(unless it gives you any more information if you log in). It does not seem to have been the immediately previous price, as I had, and msm is still (not updated) showing, £3 for last week. Perhaps they are trying to rely on last week's price being a very short duration and that the product was therefore not established at £3 - claiming that £5 is the established price as it was probably on that price for longer. However:
Was £3 (last Wednesday), now £4. I do not know whether this goes up to £5 for a few days after Wednesday and through the weekend to go back 'down' again (I cannot rule that out as I do not see prices over the weekend) but in any event it is not 14 consecutive days. Just so that people are aware of the full facts - which includes the fact this has been £3 less than a week ago - and not the half a picture. I don't know what they take us for being:wall::rotfl:.0 -

So typical that it misses my price collection days and therefore won't appear on the list!:rotfl:
It is a big price changeover in M. (They've put up the price of some of the fresh fruit/veg., though to be fair they were cheaper for quite some time, and the 3 pack peppers have gone up again for what I think is the second time in two weeks:(.) Overall, it's certainly one of the biggest changes I've had and possibly the biggest change I've ever had. That said, I've just looked at the number of pages I've got and I've had more than this before so maybe it just feels like it's the biggest one of all, although I have put quite a lot more information on many of the pages. The price collection in the first store took... four hours:eek:! It's alright as I was quite happily doing what do until I had finished:rotfl:.
That's the longest I've ever had in my first store. It normally takes between 2 and 3 hours on a changeover, although it now takes about 45 minutes to check against the entire previous list to make sure I haven't missed anything needed to see and to write down the items to check in the next store that are either not in the first at all (mostly) or proving too time-consuming to find there. The 2-3 hours has taken one hour and 15 minutes before when not much had changed (I like that!:D).
The "30 minute" check in the second store took two and half hours:rotfl:. I'll send you the bill later. That's definitely the longest for a second store, the most I've usually had has been an hour, but it's usually 30 to 45 minutes. It is supposed to be a quicker check, for outstanding items and any extras but this one was a bit more complex. It was needed to be done this way for logistical reasons - I needed this second store for a whole range of items, full shelf full that the other store does not have, that I expected to change this week. To do that range (and another as well) takes significant time, especially as it is timed in with when I expect the offers to have altered - and I couldn't have had this as my first store because I'd be doublebacking on myself with travelling and also can't use the car park with its timed limit and there is no other convenient place to park. So, I started off at the other store to (try to!) get the bulk done and could park just outside on the street without any time limit:T.
I think this store took longer because it's not one that I've been using as a base store before. This is no problem with finding anything as I simply proceed from aisle to aisle - however, it was showing me that offers were off, but, since I've not seen this store before, during the now-just-expired price period, I didn't know whether it had even shown the offers in the first place so could not be sure, just from looking, that the offers were off at all. Therefore, all this extra needed to be 'confirmed' with a second store - and this left lots to check there along with the whole range of items. And why did I not check my usual store? Again, logistics - as I could not then have got to the second store that I needed to visit that has the items that are essential to this week's changeover. (I've probably in fact got more changeover this time than ever before, because the set of stores (which is also nowadays larger) has been picked with the aim of ensuring the whole change is seen - so I've probably got 99% of the change as opposed to the 65% that I may have been having before and then getting the other 35% on the Wednesday or soon afterwards. So, it probably is more because I've got nearly the lot this time! Actually done a proper job:rotfl:. Maybe. Maybe I will ever see the full lot...)
There's no chance that I will update everything in one day so that I can ensure I don't miss anything when I check on Wednesday. I have been briefly considering whether to miss Wednesday and it'll probably take me a whole week just to catch up from Monday and, while most things should stay the same on Wednesday, there could be a few changes to catch us out and the list just be out of date slightly (once it ever gets updated:rotfl:). I was thinking of not bothering with next Monday either. However, I probably will go tomorrow:eek: (Wednesday) and just get an idea of any slight differences then and of course I'll remember everything anyway:rotfl:.
In sum, of course some items have remained unchanged from last week, but just to let you know the list is currently vastly out of date. It will need another substantial rewrite again:rotfl:.
It's alright - I do like doing it - at least the visits to the stores(:rotfl:). And I've had shorter collections before that were worse, usually because of time pressure (mainly the hitting of rush hour if I go over by half an hour and then delaying me for a further hour if that happens - so try to avoid it or else go over even longer and miss the entirety of the rush hour:j:T) - this one was started off early in the day so could take as long as it needed. That one in November last year is still the worst:(:rotfl:. That was horrible that was - and it was the struggling through traffic at rush hour. that just exhausted me by the time I got to the last store (and I only did three in those days!). This time, I actually felt very happy as soon as I reached, after a nice drive with no real delay, the City with all those extra items:D:rotfl::rotfl::o:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:.
See you later!
(I don't know what, if any, updating I will do from yesterday before tomorrow - I may just tinker a few things or... maybe... we shall see:). It's likely that it won't show Monday fully updated until after the Wednesday update of mine later in the week.)
I think I'll get to bed:rotfl::cool::wave:.:D0
