I don't take hotel toiletries any more unless they're really posh as we just ended up with a big pile of them. I'm trying to work my way through all the shampoos at the moment. I do take shower caps though, they're great for putting over the mixing bowl while you leave dough to rise :T :T :T

    Good morning everyone.

Yes, I decant the shampoos and use them as I can. They seem to last for ever. Thanks for the shower cap idea! It will also work over my yoghurt as it drains overnight! I'd not thought of using them that way.

Late to the hotel party, but sewing kit, shoe shine kit and cotton wool pads & ear buds :T

Oh yes. These are often given to the shoeboxes too. And my nephew is going through a breaking-combs phase so I get them for him.

It can happen that an item that has been on RTC absolute months ago can suddenly appear in a random store, for example this one from over six months ago:

It's been on the list for ages now and missing for me for several more recent months but still kept on the list in case it's around somewhere - I never delete anything from the list now unless I see a price going up! (That "never" is not strictly and absolutely true - but I very rarely do it nowadays, I just don't get the time to move stuff and make a decision as to what might be and might not be available...!)

This item was originallly seen on RTC months ago, very little or no stock, and seen again probably a couple of times very soon afterwards, again little or no stock for me on those occasions but probably available elsewhere (such as a place that hasn't put the RTC ticket on). After months of complete no trace, it suddenly turns up now in one of my stores - £1.48 SEL, no indication that it is RTC - it is an old RTC for months ago - and now quite some stock!

I think they just find some in the back of the store or get some random delivery and then put the item out, with the SEL that they have that they have then printed off from the national system.

So, any item could suddenly appear in a single M in the country at any time. I wouldn't be surprised if nearly every old RTC, still on the list and many of them not seen by me for ages, are, right now, each in one different M in the country which I haven't seen! They just turn up at random points, after months. I therefore certainly would not rule out that some Bailey's Orange Truffle could have been brought out to the store floor of some store(s) many months after it has vanished for me without trace, especially a store in which it has been absent for ages. It's usually stores that have been completely absent for ages that suddenly come up with the items!

And I certainly wouldn't lose hope if someone has been trying to get the Bahshah Atta Medium Chapatti Flour (10Kg) at £2 but not had any luck. It may well suddenly appear in a store, months after this entry went onto the list. Probably not in the store where I first found it, that made me put it onto the list, as the original store has probably cleared it and gone no trace of it now, unless they bring some more out, which they may or may not, but instead, indeed, having had no trace since the first day I found it, suddenly I now have an indication of it in a store where I've not had it before, about a month later. So the items certainly can appear in different Ms at different times and, if they're not there when I add them onto the list, they could well be there several weeks later, when I have kept them item on my list despite myself having no trace of it! You certainly could find these items now, somewhere. So, keep looking (...it'll appear on the day of the week when you are not there and get sold out on the day and then the SEL be removed that same day and completely vanish without trace by time you visit!).

However, I'm not going to post much as I have other things to do - I will add whatever I have got, which is a lot again, but not too much to the list today and tomorrow - I have a party on Sunday so two days and then Monday will be out at some different stores again as I expect lots of change, including significant changeovers on the items I didn't used to see normally and the world foods that I didn't usually have until more recently - so a new selection of stores for my world foods collection on Monday! I've updated the list to some degree, but I'm now leaving part way through the new items and I'll add the rest on later - there's many of them, as usual, but not too bad - I seem to have got them written down in a more organised way this time:eek:! (It's not my fault - I just write down random things from random places and then pull it all together, with some duplicates, from different sheets - not too bad this time though.) Must have had more in my first store than usual but then managed to add more than a page of other items from subsequent stores. I'll see you later:wave:.

(Wednesday wasn't too bad - there wasn't much change - they've put some prices of items up though, including items such as milk, coffee and Aunt Bessies' packets, which I have already changed on the list. And some items have gone back onto offers that they were on a few weeks ago, some of which are now already on the list and others to be added 'soon'. McVities Victoria Biscuits Selection (650g) has gone down - and it's a lot better price than the smaller version at £2 that we had earlier. Other items to go onto the list - Festive Friends are also at 2 for £1.50 in M, not just T, although appear to have gone down from 200g to just 150g:( over the years so, based on that, the 2 for £1.50 'offer' price works out at 2 for £2:eek::eek: for the old price by weight. The straight £1:eek:, for purchasing one, needs to be read as over £1.33!)

    Enjoy your party savvy....:D

Agree with Aau about a full on peat kick might be a bit too much (although he has to learn some time or other ;) ) but what about this for something away from the mainstream?

Still an Islay Whisky, but not peated. I have not tried it, but I would like to ;) It gets good reviews, and a bit different from the usual Glen-this an Famous-that.
Or if you can manage to get hold of it, Lidls own is rather special, but again, probably too peaty.

That looks very interesting, although never occurred to me to get Lidls own, more likely to be able to get there than a Waitrose.

Just won a £10 Amazon GC, thanks to 10 Ways.

Have taken the following straight from 10 ways FB page. I've saved the photo you need to scan with the Blippar app. I've loaded the app on 4 devices and won once tonight on DH's iPad, you can enter once a day. I believe you should be going into a Maccy D's and scanning instore but this photo worked perfectly for me, although a bit grainy :)

"Use blippar (app) on this image and potentially win a £10 Amazon Voucher. It's an in-store McDonalds promotion but works with a photo as well so can be done remotely (ideal for those of us who are too lazy to go in-store). You will need a phone/tablet (with the app) + a screen to view the image. Thanks to Anon"

Has anyone managed to get this to work this morning? It just keeps popping up with random words for me and nothing else. Wondering if they've fixed it so it has to be a paper version or if I'm just doing it wrong!

Good morning. Dare I ask one more waities question? They have emailed me a £30 off £120 code.
Now when I put the items from the £15 meal deal in my basket it shows the full amount. Would I need it to still be over £120 after the offer kicks in or does it work the same as it does in store?
I hope I've made myself clear 8 mealdeals are showing at £166 after my picks so I'm thinking that's actually £120 minus £12.78 minus £30 would make them just under £10 each or am I completely wrong?

Di...I really don't know about W online but why 8 mealdeals if you only need a £120 spend?

I've been looking at the Roast chicken meal deal for in store purchase. 2 meal deals and a paper. Put chicken and potatoes on PYO. Using my £6 off wys £30. I should get 2 meal deals for 11ish
