izzeyb ....You are right...I don't know what it shows on the actual receipt...

I noticed that the APG site has changed slightly when you check now...Hope they haven't altered the system

Quite possibly marmite, they have certainly changed how new offers update now.

I suppose it's only a matter of time, but at least there was a good comparison.

Received my first Radio Times last week so phoned up today to cancel the subscription

Turns out they hadn't even taken the first payment yet so my account has been cancelled and all future issues cancelled as well because I've not paid for them

No idea how this will affect cashback but presumably I've lost it. So make sure you've paid your £1 before you call up to cancel. Don't assume (like I did) that they take it at the point of order placement or the date of the first issue going out

edit: i phoned back because I was worried they would come chasing for the £1 that I haven't paid and try applying default charges. The woman I spoke to this time said the first guy had done it wrong and he should have been able to set it up to cancel after the £1 was taken. He's about to get some retraining on the matter apparently :rotfl: and she's confirmed I don't need to pay anything

So cashback lost but I've got a free magazine. That's something I guess

Just done my picks for waities, I see pepsi max 8 cans is in a multi and on PYO should work out if bought in 2s, £1.80 a pack, this may be old news...

I also noticed the bigger 1.35l of Innocent juices are £1.59 after discounts, they are on offer at the moment third off down from £2.99 and then another 20% off so have added them too.

And the small chicken in the 3 for £10 is back on if anyone didn't know.

I have a mix of conditional spends that came through the post yesterday, first one is £8 off £40 for now, second is £10 off £50 to stock up, third is £12 off £60 for the big one. and fourth another £10 off £50 for the new year, I never spend that in the new year there are always loads of whoopsies. ;)

    who knows about

    Echo Dot (2nd Generation),

    - any snags or annoyances or vexations? Does it take forever to set up? How portable is it - if you are weekdays in one place and weekends in another and inbetween it seems like you live in your car?

I've got the Amazon page open and I've been reading about its many uses. I know he has spotify and uses siri a lot

But would Amnazon refund if it proved to be useless or just gimmicy?
