    Good morning all

TM glad you are having a nice weekend away

Marmie You morning posts sound so happy and cheery Thanks

Nannie I like Kondo'ing but I am only a bit of a convert Just nice tidy clothes and food areas so far. I love the rolled up heavy jumpers, leaving more hanging space :) Seren pops by too if I remember correctly

This is first morning we have not a heavy frost

Watching 3 GC today as the parents are wrapping presents

    Enjoy whatever you do
  • Good morning all, cloudy one here but fairly mild.

Hi all has anyone been to lanazrote or gran canaria, which resorts are best for all ages as I have young kids n older kids. Need to be within walking distance of stuff to do (20 minutes) Also has any one been in December and how as the weather.

We've been to both, but certainly would not take older kids to Lanzarote - not a lot of kid stuff to do there. Really can't remember what there is on Gran Canaria, seem to recall a water park in the south, and think there is a theme park too down there.
What is this life if, full of care, we have no time to stand and stare

    Morning paw sniffers:)

I have devised a cunning plan to get us home via a W store:)

I will try today for the Weetabix and a few more Fairy:)

Edit.....just reading that the Sunday Times is included in the free papers at £2.50

So is the more expensive Observer if you are looking to increase your spend towards the £10.

Just to note on CoS, the email header generally shows Receipt Processed or Receipt Denied - the latter is easy to spot but the former you may assume means it has gone through.

I would advise still to check what it shows as I had it process the 1p competition entry and not the other item I had claimed (or rather it had a dash and "no other eligible items found on the receipt" message) so uploaded again and it went through.

  • I have stayed in Gran Canaria several times.Puerto Rica is quite a lively resort but I have only visited it and not stayed there. We stayed in Playa del Ingles which has a lovely beach and several shopping centers, nearby in Maspalomas is Aqualand waterpark.I have never stayed there in Dec but have a friend that goes every year for Christmas and she always comes back with a good tan and says it was in the 20's degrees centigrade. You can walk along the beach from Playa del Ingles to maspalomas across sand dunes about 1-11/2 hours but be warned part of it is a nudist beach!
