TIAI always have a green marks bag with me. I go to the CS desk with my green bag, ask if its possible to have a gift certificate, very polite and humble, empty the bag, gaze hopelessly into it and sigh deeply that I have lost the receipt .... The girls scan the item and hopefully it will come up at full price and that is what your credit note will be
I go to a large M&S, buy the item then immediately go to the CS desk and say it is a present and, apologetically, I don't have a receipt. As I've only just bought it, it definitely comes up at full price and I have a credit note for the lot. :j
My Sparks card has really done well!0 -
I am my own very worst enemy, what is the matter with me.
I've just sent eldest son the details of the above Brew Dog deal, assuming he would turn his nose up at it as he does at all of my spectacular good ideas.
Instead he said it would be great for GF so he asked for the link
I've just been writing my Christmas gift list and what a pathetic sight it is as well, mostly white space ....“Create all the happiness you are able to create; remove all the misery you are able to remove. Why didn't I think of it before....I can make one with a pallet I have just acquired....Watch this space.....:D:D:D
I've started to put a few bits together..Mainly glitched bits and will use my wombles for the rest....:rotfl::rotfl:..
Ideas:think: please for what to put in it...
So far Wine, crisps, chocolates, biscuits, candles....Going to get coffee, crackers and cheese....
I would hang on a bit for the crackers as these will be on sale in a week or two.
Aldi do the most amazing salted caramel fudge and it comes in a little bag which I think would fit inside one of the little 59p Home Bargains Christmas tins someone found last week.
Poundland have the most gorgeous little oblong shortbread tins with 2 packs of shortbread inside.“Create all the happiness you are able to create; remove all the misery you are able to remove.
