    same here. no email but I thought I'd log on anyway and there was the invite. I've gone for cheese - it might be more exciting then it sounds and we do go through quite a lot.
    I think Finest desserts might be wasted on OH, he gets very over excited when Vienetta is on offer for £1 :D[/QUOTE]

    :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl: made me laugh
    My dearly beloved still thinks we are 'posh' if we have Vienetta with Baileys poured over it!

    Good evening Ian and welcome to our thread:D
    Hi! Thanks for the welcome.

    This isn't a part of the forum that I visit all that often. Threads move a bit quicker here than I am used to.

    You'll usually find me somewhere near the Phones forum spreading the word on regulations and reforms and their impact on consumers.

    Have a great evening.

    Ive just received an invite to this and chose cheese too :D
    Not chosen cheese as DSIL & I will be doing our annual pilgrimage to France in December.

    This trip, which we have done for 20 years, in memory of my late brother, used to be a 'booze cruise'. We now buy some wine, well loads of boxes of wine , pate, cheese and chocolates and and French 'tat' Christmas decorations, which seem so much nicer than what we can get at home!!
    I doubt if it is cost effective or money saving these days, but it is the only time we are together and it has become a tradition!!
    I am also sure that my dearly beloved, grumpy old git, thinks 'thank the lord, 4 days peace' and she will buy me that sweet Bordeaux at £2 a bottle that nobody else likes and costs £8 a bottle here.

    If they are old enough to shave.... oh shut up SSM, you really have no idea how old girls are when they start to do this.........if I had 3 girls, I would join a strange religion where they had to wear sack cloth and I could keep them locked away until they are 30!

    lol me too if I had girls.. and also would have served crushed contraceptive pills in their cornflakes

    I was wondering, I'm sure this happened this time last year, the faustino rioja is £6 in T but also 25% off. It's £5 in A so will that make it £42 for 12 bottles after BM?
  • U&G prices

    T is £1.39 per 250ml A is £1 and 5 for 4, S etc £1 each

    330ml which seems to only be stocked at T is £1 until 6/12/16 according to T website
