Afternoon all! More job hunting for me today.

Hoping to keep some costs down this year by making shortbread and 2 kinds of fudge for stocking fillers (I did a trial-run yesterday and DH apparently is getting too used to coming home to tea on the table and me baking :o) I have one small request: has anyone here seen any nice but cheap little boxes or bags I could use for the biscuits, or cellophane bags for the fudge? TIA.

Just having a late lunch and watching a program about people who go wild with Christmas house lights, it's making me feel all festive :xmassmile

    Thank you BL....

but sadly I can possibly trash all those ideas.

unicycle...neither of them could possibly balance on it...both in their early 60's so I don't want to be responsible for an injury.

They have dad's heirloom chess set and it does take pride of place in the study

Murder mystery...we all did one a few years back as a family present for BIL's 60th

    but lovely thoughts...x
frugal October...£41.82 of £40 food shopping spend for the 2 of us!

    2017 toiletries challenge 179 out 145 in ...£18.64 spend

  • I don't get change to post much but read daily and I don't think it has been posted. Brantano are currently giving a £10 voucher when you take in an old pair of shoes, redeemable against any purchase of £20 or more (including sale items).

I think valid until the first week in December. Hope this helps someone
