I have participated in a 'few' ;) & have never succumbed to buying any blankets but thoroughly enjoyed trips i.e Tarragona, Tenerife volcano etc
Just smile & sip the cheap plonk & oh & ah in the right places ;)

Late catch up for me again. Been a busy day. Had a health check this morning with nurse at my surgery.Height, weight, blood pressure, cholestrol check, diabetes check, diet, alcohol consumption, plus family history of heart conditions and diabetes all input to get my Q-risk. This is your projected risk of future heart conditions and/or diabetes !! They investigate from 20% risk upwards with a view to lower the risk. My Q-risk was ....... 8.6% :D My blood pressure, as always, was fine, but my cholesterol was 7.77. This is only the second time I have had my cholesterol checked and last time, about 3 years ago, it was 5.2 but further checks then ok, so no follow up. Anyway, I have to have fasting blood test to check cholesterol and diabetes further. I'll go first thing Thursday and she said results would be back in about a week

Then I worked in charity shop in afternoon followed by a little shopping at Asda. More Knorr, up&go, NCG soup and some whoopsies and other bits, which have nearly doubled my frugal November total so far  But still on target, plus I had another NSD yesterday so they are on target too :D

At hospital tomorrow to probably have a strange little double lump removed from side of my knee, but at teatime I'm back at vets with Berry. His Romanian rescuer, Iuliana, has sent me photo of his x-rays from when he was originally knocked down and healed out on the streets about 5 years ago, leaving him badly lame, so will be showing that to my vet, who says his current pain is due to arthritis in all his joints now, not just from that injury (knocked down by a car)

Part of the Furniture Combo Breaker I've been Money Tipped!
Your thoughts please, on a blanket tour. Have said we would go along to one on Thursday but can always cancel it, having visions of being locked in a room for an hour but I'm sure our tour operator wouldn't let this happen, least I hope they wouldn't, especially as they are organising it. They did say there was no obligation to buy.

Just wondered if others have been on a similar outing. Would love to see how the cave people still live and this is one way we will get to see it. TIA

We've been on one of these everytime we're abroad, in Canaries. Go along, you're not pushed to buying anything. I always view it as a trip out, a chance to see more of the country we're staying in. After the sales pitch, the coach takes you off elsewhere and stops of elsewhere . Our last one we stoppped at a wine distiller. Barrels of the stuff and you can try all of them if you wish, I wouldn't recommend it though, unless you want to be carried back to the hotel. The only thing I bought was wine, obviously, some nougat and chocolate.

The scenery was great and the trip filled what would have been a dull afternoon. Go and enjoy, there honestly is no pressure on you to buy a thing xx
There's no place like home :)

Feeling down? Weak in body? Makes no difference to me, I think of you all when I'm sitting quietly.

Hugs and healing thoughts are always going your way.

Greggs valid until 12/12/16, not sure what happens if used with loyalty app as well.

So O2 covers Monday, this should cover rest of week.
Is it going to be a rush like there was for the Radio Times the other week?

Morning all! For the last few months O2 have only been offering me £1 off the Boots meal deal, rather than £1 set price. Is this the same for everyone? TIA

I have got the £1 meal deal on a Monday only, but midweek I sometimes get the £1 off.
