To be fair, that's the best way anyway, simply due to getting a good fit. My DGD had loads of Pampers but we had to take unopened packs back as poor fit meant discomfort and leakage. Aldi own brand fitted her best. Yet with DGS, I think it was Pampers that suited him. All trial and error really.

Fireworks tonight - Cunard's Queen Elizabeth is in till about half ten.:D

Ebay re Tresemme Colour Revitalise 900ml:

You viewed this at £70.17. It was just discounted to £6.57.

Thanks for the reminder. No shampoo left but got conditioner and hairspray so still very happy. No beauty box added to order but nevermind must be out of stock or fixed. £15.02 very well spent.

Awaiting the rain here too Enterprise :o

:( Dad taken into hospital late last night, same problem as before.
They went yesterday morning by hospital transport to have the catheter removed, stayed there until he could wee normally, then hospital transport 'lost them' & they were eventually taken home at 8.30pm :eek::eek: :(:(:( meanwhile the laxatives had taken effect whilst they were waiting :(:(:( & they had missed the Carers so Mum had to wash him down by herself.

They went to bed but after midnight Dad called Mum to ring for an ambulance as he was in pain

My older is DS is going down today - but we are going to have to have a family pow wow & sort out the future.

Have had the same sort of thing with my Dad, it's not easy. Hope all goes ok.

In a very large store, £7 Sel and £7 scan so looks like medium stores are changing range to drop the 18 pack Andrex Gentle Ckean.

Wasted journey - lots of stock but £7 :(

    Anon

Just got back from the big store in Poole which I would class as very large and SEL was £3 but empty. :(

The little store didn't even have a gap, though I am sure I spotted them end of aisle in the week....I guess I snoozed and losed should have gone out earlier.

I didn't come back empty handed though, in the big store got few packs of Butchers choice unsmoked back bacon SEL 50p, sticker on pack says £1.50. I've popped it in fridge so not sure what the weight was but decent size packs for 50p. :D

Both stores must be restocking the 20p shower gels as I managed to get some again and there were empty cardboard bits. As far as I know it is lime, lemon, rhubarb and custard and coconut flavours plus the sensitive skin one with the blue cap that are scanning cheap.

You must have a very good memory, I love skater dresses and have a couple of them. I never go clothes shopping in stores so I have been out of my comfort zone going into House of Fraser, Debenhams etc.
Last time I needed to get dressed up was 2004, when Principles was around, absolutely loved that shop, used to spend a fortune in there.
I am actually size 6 1/2 , have you a pic of the sandals.
Thinking of wearing a medium heel in navy, another shopping trip tomorrow:eek:

Will pm you a photo tomorrow. I did slip one foot in but the arch was in the wrong place for me and quite long.
A navy wedge would look nice too if you want comfort. I got a lovely pair from simply Be in a wide fit. Always a code around which helps.

I am doing OK thanks. Have to not over do things but getting there and back at work.
The wedding is in 3 weeks , having a pow wow tomorrow as lots behind, and am on the verge of getting rid of her mobile bar as he is such a Rip of. but i am sure it will all be fine.
How's you and mr bubbs and is your sister doing OK. Xxx

One of my eldests friends at her wedding had a friend run their bar, he had a Costco or some other discount warehouse card so all the booze was bought wholesale and all drinks at the wedding they charged £1 so all costs were covered
    - glasses they borrowed from the supermarket, might have been free??
Fizz - glasses of fizz served when everyone arrives, Aldi had gold coloured cava bottles I think for £5 and I think Aldi had free delivery for their wine store ... Might be worth checking
wilko have beehive glass drink dispensers in blue, green and pink - very retro looking, £5 each and these hold 9 litres - nice for filling with non alcholic punch maybe?

It went OOS earlier while I was in the middle of an order before I went out. :( So think I am destined not to have one. :rotfl:

It is not showing on the home page anymore and I'm sure the small print said while stocks last for the offer.

Bubbs guess what I walked past the cheap towels in As earlier, didn't console myself buying any because the loo rolls were OOS. ;)

    Good afternoon,
After trying at least 40 dresses on for my sons graduation, I have narrowed it down to
    http://www.mandco.com/floral-print-scuba-shift-dress-blue/100765301000008.html
    or
    http://www.debenhams.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/prod_10701_10001_54488+041428353_-1
    both look lovely on.
What colour shoes to wear with these outfits?

I love both dresses, but, the Debenhams one has the edge :)

A baby update for you -

Brothers wife is still in hospital. She is now 34 weeks. They have really struggled to keep her blood pressure under control. On Thursday, they were talking about letting her home for the weekend and to go back in on Monday. Very early hours of Friday morning her BP went sufficiently high enough for them to take her to the delivery suite, but they took her back to her room an hour later.

Yesterday they were searching for a NICU bed. There weren't any in Bristol so they were searching as far afield as Cardiff

Today they have decided that they don't need to transfer her and everything will be done where she is. They are having one more go at getting her BP down tonight and tomorrow and if that doesn't work, she'll be induced on Monday morning.

Prep wise, I've got a load of clothes for not a lot of money - my washing line right now will really give my neighbours something to gossip about :rotfl:

I've also managed to score an entire Moses basket on eBay for £8 :D

I am amazed at how resourceful I have been able to be so far. I haven't even spent £25 yet!

Thank you all for your help and advice. I wouldn't have been able to do it without the help of the Elite :)

qoc, I hope they get her BP down so she can hang on to the little mite for longer. You've done well on the Moses basket, and clothing as well. :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: at what your neighbours must be thinking though.

Keep us up to date, hugs to you all and fingers crossed X
There's no place like home :)

Feeling down? Weak in body? Makes no difference to me, I think of you all when I'm sitting quietly.

Hugs and healing thoughts are always going your way.

I have ignored it, as not for me, but how much are people paying for this Mr. Shoe shampoo? as in per bottle? TIA
