Brothers wife is still in hospital. She is now 34 weeks. They have really struggled to keep her blood pressure under control. On Thursday, they were talking about letting her home for the weekend and to go back in on Monday. Very early hours of Friday morning her BP went sufficiently high enough for them to take her to the delivery suite, but they took her back to her room an hour later.
Yesterday they were searching for a NICU bed. There weren't any in Bristol so they were searching as far afield as Cardiff
Today they have decided that they don't need to transfer her and everything will be done where she is. They are having one more go at getting her BP down tonight and tomorrow and if that doesn't work, she'll be induced on Monday morning.
Prep wise, I've got a load of clothes for not a lot of money - my washing line right now will really give my neighbours something to gossip about :rotfl:
I've also managed to score an entire Moses basket on eBay for £8
I am amazed at how resourceful I have been able to be so far. I haven't even spent £25 yet!
Thank you all for your help and advice. I wouldn't have been able to do it without the help of the Elite
seen there is a massive glitch on nappies, if its any help to you over on hukdI, not events, have the power to make me happy or unhappy today. I can choose which it shall be. Yesterday is dead, tomorrow hasn't arrived yet. I have just one day, today, and I'm going to be happy in it.

Finished work at 28 weeks then a few days later I was admitted to hospital for bed rest due to high blood pressure. At 34 weeks had to have an emergency section due to blood pressure going through the roof, the boys both had to spend a few weeks in SCBU, but were a very good weight, 5lb and 5lb 1oz.
I am sure that they will be delighted with the gifts for baby, and very MSE of you:T

Struggling with signal at mo but thanks for lovely comments.
It's a customer representative in a bank & my 3 friends that all work in different banks say I would be a good candidate due to my customer service skills. Thing is I'm in catering now so would not think I would get as much of a look in as people from finance backgrounds but will give it my all xxCherish those you have in your life because you never know when they won't be there anymore.
No matter how you feel, get up, dress up & never give up.0
