I did have my mind set on a huge chest freezer but with my hands being really bad at the moment, it's made me rethink with the thought of sorting through one to find things in the cold.
It has to be one suitable for the garage and I knew Beko guarantee for outhouses but I didn't realise that is for their uprights as well as chest freezers. Have found one 250l which I think will probably be big enough and I could if I really wanted to keep the small old chest freezer out there as a new upright would just take the footprint of the counter freezer that came from indoors. That is the one that has ice growing out the back.
I know cold air falls so wonder if chest freezers are more economical overall, trouble is you end up leaving them open for longer too I guess finding things, so even if more cold air escapes from an upright at least the door is open for less if you can locate things a bit easier. Am I thinking on the right lines...
Any new freezer will be have an A+++++ rating, so use less electric than the one you are replacing.
Personally I would get an upright for ease.I'm a Forum Ambassador on the housing, mortgages & student money saving boards. Happy Birthday bubbs!
Anyone know of any deals on hotels in Skipton.
Not seen this mentioned on here. Virgin west coast trains have a promotion running where once a day they are giving away a first class ticket on their route. It has to start from where the ticket ended up the day before and you can only request it for the next day. you actually get a return first class ticket, but the outward journey needs to be for the following day. It is run on twitter with @virgintrains posting using the hashtag #neverendingticket.I'm a Forum Ambassador on the housing, mortgages & student money saving boards.
