  • My local T still has mags. also RTC Halloween expiry date of end 2017. swizzels box of 100 treats £2.50, skittles mini bags of 11 50p . Sweetie treats for co-workers gonna be Halloween stuff lol

I was surprised to find some in mine yesterday, especially considering they were not there a few days previously. Grabbed a few and sat in the sunshine outside the shop tearing out the coupons :D Wasn't going to cart the whole mags home if I could avoid it.

  • This dratted fog has still not lifted, it has put an end to my ideas of a bike ride, getting a lift instead. It is not worth the risk trying to cycle on what is a fast road in this lot, I find that drivers attention is more focussed on what is in front of them, they are not looking for cyclists.

    Morning All :)

Well they finally took DD's boyfriend to be plastered at 4pm. All that waiting and it only took 20 minutes
Anyway after that they said he needed to see the Physio, then they changed their minds and let him go home :j
So DD is much happier now that she can see him up and not laying there immobile and helpless.
It seems amazing that he has come out of such an awful crash relatively OK.

Thank you all so much for all your kind thoughts

A lot of heartache to begin with but now hopefully on the mend :)

    Nectar question:

Seen the Ted Baker socks reduced to £5. Are people seriously spending £5 on a pair of garish socks just to get a nectar bonus that could be worth as little as 250 points (=£1.25 value)?

    Or am I missing something?

I know people were on about this

    Amex - Shop Small 2016 - Spend £10.00, Get £5 Credit - Register Now, Shop 3rd - 18th December

Bubbs, you are an angel. My hairdresser is included (though he doesn't take Amex?!) and our local restaurant which also does HiLife. After that I'll have to do some thinking but, basically, everything is half price if you spend a tenner so that's worth thinking about!
