Well we upset the locals at the sizzling pub by taking up a disproportionate amount of the staffs time. :o

Barman tried several ways to scan in our burger meal vouchers but they wouldn't take any money off so he had to call the landlord. And then there wasn't enough wine for 2 glasses in the bottle and cork broke when he tried to open the second.

But give the landlord his due he gave us free burgers and asked me to forward the emails so he could take it up with someone on Monday. He said he hadn't heard if the Sol promotion at all but thankfully he did know about the Campo Rioja one.

They tried any burger then thought maybe it was just the classic one or maybe you had to have the burger deal with the drink, barcode scanned ok apparently but nothing came off each time. But we eventually got these on the house. :D

So big thanks to scamps and to scamps and TM for the Riojas for Mr TS  I just paid for my coke in the end.

Hate that my PC can decide to do stupid updates by itself. It's been on over 2 hours and still only at 32%
Feel like just switching it off and on. Least I have managed to get loads of jobs done that I would have just put off.

Yep, that is a very annoying thing about Windows 10. When I shut down last night I had the option to either sleep, update and turn off or update and restart, I would far rather update when I am ready.

Oh and the landlord soon put the local in his place when he said language like that and he would be waiting even longer. :T

Was actually quite impressed with the meal have never been to the pub before and I cycled , we could go all the way there on the cycle paths. :D Definitely would try it again.

So glad that the emails are actually in our real names with having to forward them to the landlord, reminds me of that advert on tv about having weird and wonderful email addresses. ;)
