Afternoon all!
Looking for some shopping assistance if I may! I'd like to buy a Ted Baker holdall for DH for Christmas as he likes the brand and is currently using a bag for life whenever we have a weekend away, which is very :money::money::money: but also very
:o:o if we go somewhere fancy.
It's currently 20% off at House of Fraser, and Debenhams sell it too. How can I get it cheaper? I was thinking about gift cards but not sure I can use them online and my local Debs and HoF aren't all that big so may not have stock. Just goes to show how the MSE ways have affected me, as I'm looking at 20% and thinking that's normal pricing :rotfl:0 -
Yes tbw....both DH and I applied for these cards....I took a photo of the page when it was on MSE....I can send it to your email address if you pm me it.A few weeks ago there was an off on MSE of a £25 gift voucher for applying for an M&S credit card via Martins link - you had to use your credit card within 30 days f receiving it I think.
Well, I've got my card but there is no mention at all of the voucher or its conditions and their customer service people are extremely vague about it and are now saying that the offer was only for 'selected' customers !
I can't find Martins newsletter details - can anyone remember anything about this ? I wasn't expecting to get the voucher with the welcome pack and realise I have to use the card first but I had a load of hassle a while back when I transferred a bank account to M&S via an MSE link and they denied all knowledge of the promised £125 gift card offer ! Looks like this offer may be going wrong as well.Keep Moving 2018 challenge.

I still have the bottoms, the tops were threadbare so I used them to polish the car
Wasn't you who modelled the t shirt was it LFAB?
I had the same happen on a huge chunky knit zipped fleece lined jacket for Mr TS. I won't call it a cardi as it is much more than that.
Fantastic bargain for £1 as think they were meant to be £30ish but I also bought the 4p one for when the other wears out but it seems to be going on and on as he only wears it when it is absolutely freezing. :rotfl: 0 -
Well I'll start the thought of the day off then.....
I once went to a funeral and it was not until the end of the wake when we had eaten a wonderful meal that I realised the deceased was not the person who's funeral we should have attended....and yes I did confess to the next of kin who thankfully saw the funny side.
George foreman once beat me to buying an original artwork at an art gallery in St Lucia.
I always eat the crusts of sandwiches first and work inwards to the middle....have done since a yongster and it's a habit I cant break.
Who's next.....
I find that so difficult and am always in awe when TM sets up the "pun" thing I am way too serious We really are such a dull family at parties
Today I was asked to leave a full page for someone's 60th birthday on my two page newsletter He wanted lots of pictures of himself I said it might be better if I tried to arrange calendar Only said that because I knew you have so much fun with them on here He declined

Well productive morning so far, have finally applied for the married tax allowance.
Hopefully a lump sum for xmas, as the cheque will arrive in Mr TS's name I hope I get a nice pressie.
And then while I was looking out the NI details I found a letter from 2012, confirming as I thought that I had 29 years qualifiying NICs. And I can top up for just over £600 for the year 2010/11 by April 2017, will have to decide whether I think this is good value I guess. I have phoned and the letter is still valid.
I was so stupid not to have claimed carer's credit while looking after my mum, please someone else don't make the same mistake. Even if you are not getting carer's allowance you can claim credits backdating up to a year even if sadly the cared for person has passed away... I was under the impression at the time I had to be getting carer's allowance but that's not the case.

I onced went to a party but went in the wrong house...... too much alcohol to realise they were not hiding. When we found an elderly couple in bed we quickly sobered up......and ran.
I once stole a lipstick from woolworths....i felt so guilty yrs later i sent the £10 anonymously.
I once had to do the walk of shame out of a babychanging room......
I wonder if i would get the job:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

No problem.....I also got an email recently from them saying that as I was a current account holder, as long as I use the credit card before end of Oct, I will get another £25 voucher....so £50..wahoo. Funny thing is, DH is also a current account holder, but he did not get the email...ummm...so will see what he gets, hopefully wont have to argue the case, but will do if needs be.Thank you - but I have just managed to find a copy of the T&C's so I am ready for an argument !Keep Moving 2018 challenge.
