I asked in m&s for a list of wines in the meal deal they printed one of and went n looked to see what was in the 2 for £12. It worked but with our m&s been a smaller store they may not of stocked them all, should of asked for the list for the 2 for £12 as well, they we really helpful. It helps my dd3 has a temporary job there so I get staff discount think my meals work out at 2 for £12?

I found lots more wines in the wine aisle with a meal deal SEL than they had by the chiller cabinet with the meals but they didn't show any other offer...I also looked at the wines by the meal deals and went back to see if any had 2 for £12 SELs. Kept me busy. :rotfl:

Wow you are getting a good bargain. :money:

Don't know if anyone bothers much with Matalan but DD has just sent me a mailing with £5 off £25, £10 off £50 and £25 off £75+, all to be used online.

I think we have a young convert here - she's never forwarded her mail before... must be all the goodies she's acquired in the last 6 months...:rotfl:

Just looked at my nectar and the online points bonus thingy now says it expires today - originally it was 2 Nov.

Just watched Cold Feet final episode on catch up - it has lived up to expectations in my view. What a welcome return.

... now how about bringing back The Bill ... and Heartbeat :D.

Somewhat unbelievably, somehow, I managed to visit six Ms today. I have no idea how, as I managed to get out of the city before rush hour and on the way back home!:T:T (I think I'm just managing to be lucky.) The price collection was "interesting" - although I realise that that is only to me as everyone else would find it as dull as ditchwater:rotfl:. There is, as far as I know, little change in M today btw - in fact possibly the least change I have ever had. I felt that I was in real danger of not having two items I really needed to see and thought I would be coming back here to say that I have lost them. One of them was the M Signature Golden Ale on 78p RTC. I had that in two stores on Monday - I revisited one of them today and found the 78p bottles had completely vanished:(. I do not know how the entire stock and all trace of the product completely disappears in the space of two days that aren't even popular shopping days but that has happened! I was unable to visit the other store where I had them on Monday. Instead, logistically, I had to visit other stores - these included another that I also visited on Monday and it did not have them at all, so I thought I stood no chance! To my surprise however, they are now there. Small store to the rescue again:rotfl:. I also, again to my surprise, had them in a further store so ended up with them in two stores.

It just interested me that I have found them, that's all - and the fact that other items have turned up in different stores to before, as if one has swapped from being in Store A (now completely absent) to Store B whilst another has gone from B to A:rotfl:. And another one has been found elsewhere too, having failed to find it in the other two stores that had it before!

And it really was small store to the rescue as I had another item, again in the store I was unable to revisit, that I thought I stood no chance of seeing again as I've never seen it before in the stores I was due to visit, but it was in the small store, along with another item that I didn't have before:rotfl:. I've only got it in that one small store today (it will be in bigger stores, including the one I visited on Monday) and, as I've only got one SEL to rely on and unable to get another to see if it was likely to be correct, I'll find out soon if the price is the same as the one I've already got:rotfl:.

I have this freezer item to tell you about:
    M Vegetarian Butternut Squash & Nut Roasts (2 per pack - 260g) (BC 5 010251 603825) 38p

I'm sorry about my slight delay on this - I did have the product on Monday but was told at the till that it was £1.50! This was even though the SEL had RTC £1 on it. I think I went away from the till muttering "I still don't trust the price I've been given:o:o, that's the problem, I still don't think it's correct but, what can I do?!?". (They may even have overheard me, and got the impression I was a disgruntled and difficult customer. Hence my causing the usual amount of embarrassment that I usually cause:rotfl:.) Unfortunately I could not check at the SS in that store as I had my entire "shopping" cancelled there by the same SA after I forgot my wallet last time, with the items I was trying to resolve! However, I managed to find a different SA and a different excuse this time.

I have been looking for beetroot in my stores today. I had some in my second store with a SEL that might have been a bit dodgy - it's probably correct but I just wanted another go. However, I've looked in all of my remaining stores and none of them have the product, so I just get what I've got!

The Marrow continues to nag me in an extremely slight way - as does the Wyke Mature Cheddar very slightly more but not very much (vanished on me in several stores today but I've managed to pick it up from elsewhere) - I would be giving what I think is an incorrect price for the Marrow as it's in few stores for me now. The less amount of information makes it more likely that something will be incorrect. Today I have one store showing what I believe is OOD incorrect £1 and one with £1.25. I'd therefore be picking the lower price - the price which I think, on this occasion, is incorrect. So, it could be that, with items that are rarer, an incorrect lower price could get picked up. However, I think it is unlikely that the APG will have £1 for this item, even though that unlikely event has happened in my visits.

I think it is likely to happen on occasions that an incorrect higher price is picked up on items that are stocked in fewer stores, that the collectors therefore have to rely on just one store for - and it turns out the store has incorrect full price showing:(. If the item had been part of a range that is stocked in more stores, they would be likely to have a second store, and third and fourth, to overturn the incorrect SEL - however, with items that are stocked in fewer stores, such as the world foods and Halal items, the pricing information could be less reliable and more likely to pick up incorrect prices if the only store they have with an item happens not to have the correct price showing - or they could miss the item altogether if it's in just one of their stores and it doesn't have a SEL in that one store. This is a problem that does occasionally arise for me, although I have my workarounds that the APG collectors do not have.

I am now only just getting the correct price of 82p on the Salad Peppers. I now have three stores that have changed to full price £1 against three that are showing 82p. This is compared to two stores on Monday that had the full price showing (against four with 82p). There may be an impending price change - it has not happened yet, as the peppers scanned at 82p today (and this was stock in a "£1":( store) but just to let you know that I am slowly becoming in more risk of getting more stores that have currently incorrect full price - it's possible the APG could start to pick up £1 although at the moment, myself, I am just about okay. It is not as bad as the Plums Punnet that, at one stage earlier in the year, when they were still on offer, were showing full price in most stores for me and the APG did pick up full price:(. So the Salad Peppers, now, seem to be getting incorrect SELs but not as bad yet.

The individual Lemon and individual Lime went up in price on Monday - I ended up with, roughly, 31p on each of them but saw online has 34p and removed them from the list. I have a general consensus of (just about) 31p from SELs from stores - I think I have more stores of that for the Lemon and, probably, just about enough stores with 31p for the Lime, although some have 34p for me on the Lime so, on the Lime, I might tip the 'wrong' way. It's a little haphazard but I think I'd just about be getting 31p for Lemon and 31p for Lime. I have not scanned either of them - I think the correct price is probably 34p, and that is showing online - however I think what seems to have happened, in quite a few stores, is that they have pulled off the 'price crunch' offer label price and that has revealed the previous price of 31p on the SEL (which was the price before the price crunch went on) which they have then not changed to the 34p price to which I now think they have most likely gone up. That is why I think several stores - and it's quite commonplace for me in fact - I saw several other such stores on Monday - are showing 31p. The (probably correct) price of 34p is around on SELs, in other words some stores are showing this, but it does not appear to be that common.

There therefore could be a comparison of 31p on them which, although it is a price increase, is not that bad compared to the 34p online that saw me just delete both items on Monday. On the experiences today from instore, I might be inclined to reinstate each of them against potential 31p - although I think the correct price for each is more likely to be 34p.

I have no idea what M price Jacob's Biscuits for Cheese (250g) is. The actual M price is not relevant to the APG anyway as it goes by SELs. I have labels (half of them larger offer labels that I believe aren't taken by the APG collectors but also some SELs) that say £2 until 6th November. There are also SELs up for £1 until 6th November. I think that it is more likely that the APG will pick up £1 - most SELs in the important places appear to be saying £1 - however it could pick up £2 (I do have the odd SEL for £2 in my stores). So I think it continues now to be a risk - I think it will probably be okay but it might not be.

So, six stores, managed (somehow!) to be visited today - the Nut Roasts reveal themselves to be 38p - and, from six stores, I have just two sides of paper to update (and one of those isn't very full!):D:T.

That doesn't mean the list will get updated quickly - it'll probably encourage me to put it off:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:. I have one correction to make - an item to delete silently:D, as I think I got an incorrect SEL on Monday:doh::laugh:. I will delete that and will try, though, to update the small number of changes that I have. There are further RTCs that I have today though, so don't assume that there is no change:cool:.

I suspect I have a partial range of 2 out of 3 items in my stores on one of the RTCs - and will have to make up my imagination that other stores elsewhere will have the missing one:rotfl: - the other one, I got just one item in my first store:( - I thought I would never have the other, now missing flavours and could not remember what they were. However, fortunately I did find the other two, one of those in just one store, yes the small store again:rotfl:, both with full price SEL but they scanned at the reduced price! So, again, I have managed to get the range that I didn't expect to be able to get!:D I'm doing well:rotfl:.

The items in question are the Our Little Secret meals (sort of 'long life', not chilled or frozen). Not that much of a reduction at the moment though, just back to the same as previous standard offer prices:( but I think they will probably go down further later - but only if they remain in stores. I think the one with the RTC label is set to disappear, from all the stores, but it may be lucky on the ones that currently have full price showing for me if they remain and the price then goes down (which will be a going down silently in those stores). You will probably also find items that are on these general RTC moved to RTC shelves of stores again and put onto even lower store-specific RTC - they keep doing that in lots of Ms I am seeing - so, wait on the RTCs and always look to see if your store has put one of them (it will be a different one in each random store unfortunately!) onto an even cheaper price.

So do we think we can combine the meal deals with the 25% off in M&S?

I was thinking couple of meal deals with 4 more bottles of wine, I do still have 20% off rose on my sparks, which worked last week with another sparks offer of 20% off for buying 3 bottles of wine but that offer has now expired.

I know I should have kept my frock on but I wanted to test the 2 offers as T&C's said could not be used with other offers. It didn't work quite how I hoped as took 20% off and then 20% off that, so not a total of 40% off.
