I haven't been called for a mammogram yet, with my mum and grandmothers' history both sides I could have rung for an early one but haven't. I have seen early detection with all the treatment that goes with it and no detection until it was too late, so I probably think very controversially over this.

My NHS trust calls for women anytime between age 47 and 53 for their first mammogram and I have been relieved each year it has not arrived yet for me to make a decision. :o

Sorry to hear you have the blues:o would planning another trip away lift your spirits?

    Lovely to see you posting:T

    Thank you TM.
I'm still having problems with the ankle I broke back in June. I'm back at work now, and struggling with pain and swelling about 6 hours into a 10 hour shift, spent mostly on my feet. Still waiting occupational health appointment, and MRI results.
The good news is that Antigua for next May is booked and paid for. :T

It sounds like your leg is not ready to be back at work... is there any flexibility to work less hours or have some more time off? You need time to heal x

Antigua... can I fit in your suitcase? :D

  • Thank god you were checked xxxxx

You would think that people should have routine MOT.

DS3 had a full medical today for a new job, at 22 he has grade 3 deafness (think I have wrote this right) so needs to see a specialist. The worst thing is that DS2 has significant hearing loss due to Meningitis C septicaemia when he was a baby, I was pregnant with DS3 at the time he was exposed to the precautionary medication that people were given.

Hugs xxxx I too hate the winter, I go to work in the dark and come home in the dark... miserable.

But I did smile at the idea of prostate check..... just how is this done :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

There is a reason why supermarkets have only one of a range on lower price and the rest full price.

1p less than the standard £1 offer prices:rotfl:. (We have seen them go down to 75p before - once in Superdrug perhaps a couple of years back and in M on an RTC, again maybe one or two years ago - or maybe more:eek:: time flies:rotfl:!) Have they had a downsizing from 175g to 157g?
