They are still listed on the initial page from nectar until you click through to the shops page and yes indeed Lakeland are not there....

Now I'm wondering whether it's worth the bus fare to pick up my orders.

    My muller shop.

If you scan an item with the app then it will give you a very good idea if it will work as a trigger or not. :)

Did a shop this morning and can confirm the mullers are still working, I will be heading to stock up this evening!! X

Need to get my glitch mojo back...

Do I buy 11 or 12 mullers and reading back does one of them have to be the trigger?

Yes .You are right.I should have thought of that.I have plenty of the mixed corners from my failed shop from Saturday.

I have got the asda app on my phone but have had to remove msl because it was taking up too much room and wouldn't update my other apps.

Well I am still munching through the walkers strange flavours crisps...and today my second win arrived in the post.
It's a walkers sandwich bag...I think I preferred the other win of a single pack of crisps....but I will not be ungrateful.
They certainly arn't giving out the prizes like the last time with the lunch vouchers.

I am one of those in the camp that might miss the cheese and salad cream flavour once its gone....it's strangely addictive...if I wasn't being frugal I could see me buying up stocks just for that flavour!

Regarding the frugal October that many are doing,it would be interesting to know if their November spends are normal or twice as much to make up for the shortfall spent in October.

I was thinking about this Sal the other day...and actually during the month I have got into a different routine of how I shop.
I think that going forward I will up the budget, but not to the extent that we were spending before.
Probably it came at the time of a transition for us what with DS going to uni....so eating habits and foods and spend could now be centred around 2 rather than 3.
What has been one of the most surprising things is the way that my OH has suddenly taken an interest in it all. That may I think be coupled with the idea that early retirement might become a greater possibility in the the next year or so....but he has actually embraced the concepts of RTC and will happily tussle with the pros in T on a sunday afternoon.
Having had the last week off work I think he settled into his own sort of routine that he could see becoming a possibility in the future.

I am much more aware of what goes in the trolley or basket than I used to be and it has been quite easy to change the time I shop to coincide with the best bargains.
I struggled initially with it all as I have been used to meal planning...that goes out the window when you suddenly come face to face with reduced veg that can be a stirfry....or indeed the other way riound when you hope for a stirfry and theres not much of a choice so its off to see whats in the freezer or what goes easily with pasta or rice.

I always thought I was a savvy shopper but living on a budget really does hit it home....but having said that, our freezer has never had such variety in as it does at the moment...all thanks to the 40p RTC.

i'll zero my totals at the end of October and continue for November...cant promise to be quite as regimented and frugal as October but I will certainly be embracing some of the tricks and concepts I've perfected.
