Enjoy your stay with your friend in Bournemouth tomorrow :)
  • Hi Di, yes I'm at work on Wednesday at the Kendal Branch, would love to see you x

Fab :j we're going to Kirkby lonsdale in the morning, lunch there I think , unless you can suggest anywhere amazing in Kendal. We usually eat in that little bistro down by the premier inn, love it in there but we just want either late breakfast or lunch.
So it will be the afternoon I'll pop in and say hello :D

Make sure you keep warm Nannylala. Bournemouth sounds lovely but will also be quite chilly this time of year. My trusty ancient Uggs have had to make a couple of appearances this week, it's definitely getting colder. I've also been wearing scarves, not woolly ones but the thinner ones that you can wear indoors, lovely for keeping my neck warm :)

    Good morning Elite.

Hope everyone is warm, happy and well. Hugs to those not so. ((tweets)) ((AJ))

I'm back home after my few days north of the border. Unfortunately no aurora sightings. One day.....

Managed to womble lots of receipts for SHPRZ. Thanks to OP for flagging that one as I hadn't heard of it. My LL orders are not yet ready for collection. I can only assume they are waiting for SSM to recycle her cardboard boxes. : )

    Have a great day everyone.

    Hi TM,
Xmas cake was made a few weeks ago. Xmas pud not made yet. Can't decide whether to but or make. Need a pressure cooker recipe that works.
    Hope you get your sherry.

Elaine, have you got your original recipe book? I use the recipe out of the book for my first pressure cooker and it works every time, I can post it up if you want?

Has anyone got free milk on CoS? SCC are reporting some people have, but unfortunately none of my family have it but worth checking your account.

I'm in two minds about going to Mr A or Mr T , I'll end up doing both then go and see Mr L for some of his rolls, since they stopped selling the cheese and red onion rolls I've been buying cheese topped ones. They're very nice, firmer than Mr Ts which I still buy anyway.

Can't wait to get to Mr T and buy some soup, I've been having a tin a day due to this rotten cold, what with a dry mouth and blocked nose it's been difficult to eat much solid food. No, I didn't get any Hipps as my store don't stock the pouches :rotfl::rotfl: I wouldn't have minded some of the fruity ones to use as toppings for desserts but wouldn't actually eat them myself  :rotfl:

Have a happy day shopping :)

Get that meat order in Di :T. You know it makes sense, I'd do the same thing, have done in the past :)

I bought one of the cheese topped rolls yesterday for my tea and it smelled so nice I just had it with butter never mind the cheese and onion I was going to put on it lol. Mind you I did have one of their chocolate Danish pastries too soon after it :o

Good Morning all off to Shrewsbury today with my sister .:)

    Good morning.
I have a dilemma, only a very small one to do with frocking!
Dh is on holiday now for a week and we were talking last night about days out we are going to have. On Wednesday we are going to Kirkby lonsdale and Kendal with Dd (Sunflower are you in work on Wednesday I'll pop in and say a quick hi if you are)
Anyway I used to own a deli and I still get meat from one of my old suppliers but it's a bit of a trek so dh says why don't you order some meat and we'll make a day of it . You see my problem I do a massive order of quarterpounders, beef stew, lamb etc so it will be a fortune.
I don't want to miss the opportunity because I would rather dh drive there but it will knock my total completely.
I think I may do the order but not include it in my total as it isn't meat for now iykwim, maybe I'll add the amount of say a pound of stew if I use it.
I have used so much out of my cupboards and freezer and sent loads of things to Dd too. I did laugh to myself the other day at her house when I opened the cupboards they are like replicas of mine with rows of passata, tinned tomatoes and she had a list of meals planned stuck to the fridge, I'm so glad she's cooking fresh rather than all junk food.
Now to write the list for the butchers.

Go for it, still money saving in the long run and that is what it's all about! :)

    Morning Folks!

    Its the holidays!

Hope everyone is well. Been busy in RL and will still be going into work next week, even though it is half term!!!!! but I can join in for a few days :j

DD has split up with her BF, so lots of tears and upset. :(

Still trying to sell DM flat. Got cross with young girl at Solicitors yesterday, so not proud of myself :o, but some days I wonder what I am paying them for!

Roof leaking over DS2 bedroom. We have paid £1000 to have it repaired, and it is still raining in his bedroom!!!!

Having woodburner installed in living room. I have waited 23 years to have the money to have the 1950's fireplace removed from the 1820's mantelpiece....... and the installers have managed to make it look worse!!!!! Needless to say, they will be returning on Wednesday to put it right.:mad::mad::mad:

I was just wondering if anyone had pdf of Hipp vouchers and soup vouchers they could share?

DD been putting the Hipp pouches into smooties, so now running dangerously low! :rotfl:

    Have a great Saturday.

    HE x

I'd be interested in the PDF too please, if anyone has it, TIA...
