for the swipe x times promo I just went through SS tills and did one item at a time or £1 worth - soon got to the total

Does your contract allow you to accept it QoC?

Years ago Mr TS was left money in one of his clients will, a substantial sum too would have made such a difference to us at the time. But there is a clause in his contract that he is not allowed to accept gifts etc. In the end he was allowed to accept but then had to gift straight to the charity he worked for.

Probably different circumstances to you but the client could not understand the help Mr TS was giving him he was already getting paid for. He did try and explain. The solicitor contacted Mr TS direct and said his client hoped he could accept it. I guess in the end he has indirectly benefitted by it going to the company who pays his wages....
