Sainsbobs have sent me a mailing, 4 vouchers with bi-weekly dates

    150 nectar points 12/10 to 25/10
    300 nectar points 26/10 to 08/11
    spend £1 get a surprise after 07/11 - 26/10 to 01/11
    150 nectar points 02/11 to 08/11

there does not seem to be a minimum spend and I am wondering if they will all work if I scan them all at once in the first week ... probably not

I'm almost tempted to turn my house into a kill room for halloween a la Dexter :rotfl:

 Dexter would use higher grade plastic sheeting :p :rotfl:

Thanks for this. Also 1kg Silver Spoon icing sugar is a nugget in there, just saying :)

So a month ago I heard something nibbling in my living room, but could not figure out where it was coming from. We checked everywhere except behind the sofa (it's bloody heavy) and vacuumed the crap out of everything. I didn't hear it again, so thought no more of it, but we've been cleaning everyday just in case. Last night I was watching Netflix on my laptop and a little mouse ran out from under my sofa. I think we startled each other and it ran back :rotfl: We've figured out it came from our neighbour (long story but essentially they are now squatters, who haven't paid rent in 8 months, don't clean and refuse to let anyone into the building). Does anyone know how to get rid it without killing it?

Has anyone checked their Sainsburys mycoupons list yet

    https://mycoupons.sainsburys.co.uk/

Its the usual items I would never and have never bought but then I noticed a very annoying new method of sainsburys marketing - a significant number of items you now need to buy in sets of 2 to get the usual 40 or 60 bonus nectar points for

17 items in all on my list - OH also has 17 on his list, some the same but some different :(

    2 Young's frozen fisherman's pie
    2 Branston baked beans
    2 McVitie's Gold bar x8
    2 by Sainsbury's Highland oatcakes
2 by Sainsbury's frozen garden peas
    2 Frijj chocolate milkshake
2 by Sainsbury's chocolate chip cookies
2 by Sainsbury's frozen roast potatoe
    2 Tropicana smooth orange juice
2 by Sainsbury's chocolate iced ring doughnuts
2 Batchelors Super Noodles chicken flavour
    2 coconut milk 400g
2 Sainsbury's baked beans in tomato sauce with sausages
    2 by Sainsbury's baby button mushrooms 200g
2 Cadbury Dairy Milk giant chocolate buttons bag
2 by Sainsbury's rich highland shorties biscuits
    2 Wall's Viennetta 650ml

so much for sainsburys encouraging less over buying and less wasteage

I think you can get humane traps.

They only need a hole the size of a pencil so you need to be plugging up every possible tiny gap with some sort of flexible filler

You can get humane traps which is just a little box they go into and can't get back out of. But where would you release it?
  • You can get the kind of trap that catches it in a box without killing it, I think.

When I lived in the outer wilds I used to use an old colander to catch them, then slid a thin old baking tray below, then carried them outside.

Thanks, and to mhoc too. There are a lot of green spaces around here, I would release it in one at least 10 minutes from my house. Just need to find the little git now :rotfl:

Probably wouldn't survive outside this time of year if you release it into green spaces as won't have built a nest in time ready for its winter wind down.
Need to find an outside warmer residence that's sheltered or find which hole it comes from and then block it so it can't come back.
