that's what I did but I think mine came to £15.50 ?? - I did not have the gastropub discount on sparks though :(

I had a Marks Sparks email though last night to say now I am over 5000 sparks I get access to the pre sales - although its really only the 80% off sales I take much notice of.

This £2.50 I've saved on a side and another £2 off a bottle of wine about six months back have been the only real offers I've been able to use since this new Sparks scheme started.

From various postings on their facebook page people with really big sparks totals who were promised exclusive invites have been even more disappointed

no idea how I got to 5 thousand either. At the start I did quite a bit of shwopping - taking an Oxfam item in to get 50 points but now I cant find the swhop bins even in the bigger stores and each time I was having to show the staff how to put the points on as they had not been trained. I don't know why I bothered.

No mhoc, I sadly did not have the gastro on my card either, tbh I think its strange how people have paid different amounts.
I am happy though plus the wine is quite nice.

I don't post on here often but thanks to all the people who have mentioned to tesco household glitch. Pledge, flash and bold 40 wash powder compared well and I got a £20 brand guarantee.
I do however blame you all for enticing me out of the house when I just had surgery yesterday. :D
    Also good luck to squigs.

Hi rebeccalb, hope the journey out to Mr T wasn't too tiring for you after surgery. Nothing too serious I hope , speedy recovery wished for you X
There's no place like home :)

Feeling down? Weak in body? Makes no difference to me, I think of you all when I'm sitting quietly.

Hugs and healing thoughts are always going your way.

Totally agree with you - I did it for the first time this week and my hotel plus 2 weeks parking has been confirmed as valid. I have just put in another claim for an extra night at the same hotel when we come back - they have said that it looks OK and I will hear back within 48 hours. I am just slightly concerned that the small print says the hotel may want to see proof of my onward flight and I will be charged extra if I can't prove my flights. Well, this is overnight when I get home as the flight is much to late for me to drive home - not quite sure how that will play out but I needed the hotel anyway so will hope for the best.

Also a bit of a bombshell last night as dd2 and her OH are moving out, wished they would have waited as rent is sooo much money but I think they just want to make a home and I understand that . Worse thing is I only have five days notice and will be away when it all happens ...a\lso I am losing two lots of housekeeping money so really have no plan as to where the money will come from to pay the utilities now .
