    Just tried Asda Butchers Thick Back Bacon - it's thicker/tastier than S and you get 8 slices (S only have 6) so for the same price there are benefits.

    Went to library and checked out Co-op next door - 58p spent on 2 sturdy ice scrapers rtc, at 29p each these are a steal.

    58p was not grocery, so not added to total.
    Having an NSD grocery-wise.

    Must do some dust-busting this afternoon...

    Treated us to 2 meal deals this morning, sadly no extra £3 wine discount for me, never mind at least I used a gift card from T for the extra points!

    News story ---> Ll0yds are slashing the rate on their Club account from 4% to 2% :mad:.

    I know the base rate has come down SLIGHTLY after 8 (?) years, but banks are really trying it on with the level of cuts they are making to savings rates, completely unjustified in my opinion!

  • Well that's the first of nine Christmas cakes in the oven, so that's me house bound for the next couple of days. Let's hope we have a glitchy couple of days online :)
