I had a fantastic time, thank you. 30+degrees every day, 6 days on the beach and cooling off in the sea, one day walking up a mountain and back down, as you do :rotfl::rotfl:I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the Health & Beauty, Greenfingered Moneysaving and How Much Have You Saved boards. Well I had been putting it off, trying on the dress I hoped to wear this evening to the charity ball.
And it fits. :j:j:j Not sure what I would have worn if it didn't. :rotfl:
It's this one that I nearly wore to my 50th last year...
One of my bargains for £10 when after getting my inheritance I bought a few more dresses than I should have.Along with a few others I haven't worn yet.
:o
Last time I wore more of a cocktail dress to the charity ball but almost everyone else was in ball gowns, but I'm just too short under 5" to carry one off plus the expense of getting a petite one. Anyway this dress says it is a prom dress but it's not got those ridiculous net underskirts for someone of my age.Meant to be just below the knee so midi type but on me is perfect as a just above the ankle maxi dress.
Now to decide which shoes to wear, reckon I might get to wear some fairly low gold ones to jazz it up, another impulse buy I have never worn either.Don't think I should go too high with my knee and foot still under repair. :rotfl:
I think you will look very virginal :whistle:
Have a fab time TS:T:T:TTo do is to be. Rousseau

So eating out of freezer continued last night. I had chicken Korma that I got free in Sada because DD1 didn't like another ready meal and they did replace and refund
DH had whoopsied Hot Tikka Masala from T with a Naan from Approved foods and Tilda Micrwave Pilau rice which I got whoopsied from Sada for 20p as someone thought it was a chilled item :rotfl:
DD2 had whoopsied ready to eat chicken drumsticks with a 25p Pot Noodle
My brunch today was Little Dish chicken pie - thought it a bit more flavoursome than some of the others.
Are you a frocky Lizzie?
