is this page any good for you emerald

    http://bank.marksandspencer.com/explore/contact-us/overview/?WT.ac=MASM_HPL_CU

I know that if you have had a card issued within the last 12 months then you can't apply again...don't know if that applies to you or not.
Most applications are dealt with on a credit scoring basis so it isnt even looked at by a human...its unlikely that they will tell you exactly why you cant have one ...but worth a shot I guess if you want to try.

Hi thanks LEJC? No that doesn t apply to me . It could have been one of three reasons apparently Your age if your under 18, your employment status or your U.K. Residency so out of those 3 it's the employment one. When I checked my credit score it was 95%.

I'm not that bothered actually it was mainly for the £25 and £5 worth of points Martin mentioned on his page.:p I m indignant that I was refused really. I ll try the link you sent. :)

Might possibly be better sending an old fashioned letter to marks HQ in Chester?

I applied for a Marks CC for OH last week but heard nothing since from them. I did wonder if they might have an end of the month rush but now I am wondering ...

Oh I can t be bothered to be honest and I don't want to waste money phoning them. I would just have liked the £25 etc really. I m just indignant I was refused . Anyway thanks to LEJC I managed to do it online.
