I know absolutely nothing about cruises.
A friend showed me a cruise that they had booked yesterday - 9 days Greek Isles Cruise with Royal Caribbean - 12th September.
Costing them £840 for 2 - do have to get to Rome themselves? or is it included?
Didn't want to appear ignorant last night :o:o

Does this include flights and transfers?

A rough and ready guide seems to be £100 per person per night is very good value but some people even try to get £50 per night.

If you are really easy going - don't mind inside cabins, fly cruises, can travel very short notice, don't mind late sitting for dining it using the buffet, don't mind what ports then it's quite possible by keeping a watch on the price lists.

The port for Rome is a long way of the city itself so you have to factor in this cost - cruise tour or the local train

I've had one of those vexing afternoons where you end up feeling like you could start a fight with your own finger nails :)

Firstly it took 2 hours to extract OH from work and by the time we got to Boots there was no sign of the £1 meal deal on either of our O2 priority apps  I thought I'd saved mine but I hadn't - we are still getting the hang of this and not doing it very well

Then we went to mr Tosssrs where my COS was playing up and I had to reset the password in the middle of the store and then I realised that our store does not stock the right jam sugar  - good thing I'd not already promised it to someone. So another thing on the cashback lists our store does not stock

I did though get the palmers for Q - eldest child has claimed these already. Quite surprised as her sensitive skin does not tolerate many body lotions.

OH is snoring on the sofa again - woke up this morning with a bee in the bed  - so I was about to get out to do a bit more in the garden when the phone rings.
Its a phone call from Nationwide asking if I need the services of one of their financial advisors - they ask what plans I had to which I replied I was looking at alternative building societies - Nationwide are closing 2 of my very old savings accounts at the end of the year and then they have the cheek to offer me a financial advisor - the liberty!

    Good morning Elite :hello:

Just dashing in and out as have one or two chores on my of to dos from last week that got overlooked  must get them done today

Today is supposed to be the best day of the week, so make the most of it :D

DM how is Rebecca this morning? What did the vet say it is please? Hope she is ok X

See you all later, have surveys to do, emails to send them get on with my list :rotfl: :rotfl:

I am sure she is winding me up.
Last night, she kept pacing to the bottom of the stairs, and not goign up (she usually goes to bed before me being a lady an' all.)
So I go upstairs, and try to call her up....not a chance. I go up, bring her bed down, put it next to the sofa, go back up stairs, bring my quilt down to sleep on the sofa and keep her company. Just getting it all sorted, I turn round, and the cheeky monkey has left me and gone upstairs.
Today, she has hardly moved, just watching and staying lay down, again whimpering whenever she had to sit or stand. So have just been to the vets, and he thinks it could be swelling/infection in her spine at the back end. So £97 later I come home with some anti-biotics and pain killers.
I get in the house, and she is sitting and standing as normal, and she has not even had the tablets yet. Sure she just pretended to wind me up................well the last laugh is on her as she cant go for walkies for a week, that will wind her up :D

Thanks for replying I am sorry but I :D at your post I can imagine your face last night when she trotted off to bed after you had sorted everything downstairs .

Hope the antibiotics make her feel better that's if you can get her to take them I know how awkward that can be ;)

    Afternoon all.
Just to say the meal deal is still working at £14 for 2 if you can find the wine in store, very limited choices though, only the mac cheese left in my store after I had the last 2 moussaka's. yum...

    :)

I have sold something on eBay - The buyer's user ID made me presume they were a writer.
So I started a thank you message & 'do you write books' query & waffling on about how I like 'chic lit' .....
Thankfully I googled the buyer before I hit send & discovered they are a well written war correspondent

:o:o:o:o message edited to a thank you :o:o:o

    Lovely person ♥
