Morning all hope everyone is well.

My nectar has 3000 bonus points wys £30 excluding vat at Viking. I know people have ordered coffee & loo rolls before. Points worth £15 I think. Hth xx
Cherish those you have in your life because you never know when they won't be there anymore.

No matter how you feel, get up, dress up & never give up.

SSM have you collected your debs?

Yes, went today but there are still in the car as the boys are getting the house ready for a party...:D:D:D

They would only give me one £5 coupon.... slight disagreement, they ended up giving me two (as OH was with me!). At the tills, they had a sign with the terms and conditions highlighted that it is one token per person per day. But have to admit, what I got was a bargain.

ooh god the music has just gone up to full blast!

    Afternoon all!

Funny how watching what you spend on food can affect your decision making, I was going to buy some ham for lunch, then realised it was £1 for 4 slices or £3 for a decent-sized pack, so I left it and had tuna from the cupboard instead :D

Bought some quality butchers sausages for £3.85, but they're so nice and filling that they'll do for 4 portions, a 4-pint of milk for 95p and some Maris pipers for £1.70 as I'll be doing shepherd's pie for tea instead of takeaway when my friend comes over tonight. Total outlay so far: £6.50. I reckon I can do all evening meals from the freezer and cupboards, so just need some bread, fruit and veg (and soup) to keep us going during the day. Definitely do-able.

We're visiting family for the next 2 weekends in a row so that should help, although I woke up in the night as I realised my dad offered to take us to Makro and Costco using his card when we visit them, so that could be bad for the budget :rotfl: I wouldn't count the bulk-buy loo rolls or kitchen roll, but it's the massive lemon drizzle loaf cake which would be the downfall :o
