Good morning. A new little life has entered our family and he is gorgeous I'm going to see him again on Thursday I didn't want to put him down until he started to cry and then I didn't mind :rotfl:

Good afternoon all a new little life has entered our family too :) Dawn s partners sister had a little boy 8.15 ozs, she had to have a Caesarian in the end as he got stuck .

Similar to Dawn except Riley and Ruby didn't want to come out so she had two caesarians :o a cousin for them :p

afternoon all, weather wet and horrible here all day :(

Please can I kind person sum up shopprize for me

OH has an android so I've downloaded onto his phone and I've read the rules and regs but still have questions - excuse, being a bit dim headed today :o

What is the maximum number of receipts you can upload a day?5
Can you enter more than one receipt from the same supermarket in one day? yes
Is it just supermarkets or do shops like Boots, Argos, Clintons, Home Bargains etc count?yes
Does it matter about the value of the receipt - is it better to enter high value rather than the under a fiver ones?no

I randomly scanned some and it seems to give me 100 points each time - is that the same for any value of receipt and is it the same for any store?yes
You also seem to get extra points for going up levels and I seem to be on level 4 now. How many receipts do you need to scan to go up each level? not sure

I've only seen a vague mention of gift cards so far it all seems to be sweepstake entries which I worry about clicking on accidentally 7500 points is a £5 amazon gift card

Is there anything else that I need to know - thanking you in advance kindly :)
    hope that helps.:)

    I think 5?

Can you enter more than one receipt from the same supermarket in one day? Yes
Is it just supermarkets or do shops like Boots, Argos, Clintons, Home Bargains etc count? Any receipt counts, even local shops
Does it matter about the value of the receipt - is it better to enter high value rather than the under a fiver ones? Value doesn't matter
I randomly scanned some and it seems to give me 100 points each time - is that the same for any value of receipt and is it the same for any store? Yes 100 points & 15 xp per receipt
You also seem to get extra points for going up levels and I seem to be on level 4 now. How many receipts do you need to scan to go up each level? I believe it's about 115 xp (you get 5 per day just for logging in) - click on the green bar with your level on it to see how far you are away from the next level

I've only seen a vague mention of gift cards so far it all seems to be sweepstake entries which I worry about clicking on accidentally click on the 3 lines next to your name and then click on cash out to get a £5 Amazon voucher per 7500 points (which won't take long)

Is there anything else that I need to know - thanking you in advance kindly :)Make sure you log in everyday even if you don't have any receipts to upload - you get 5 xp and points per day, day 1 = 5 points ... day 5 (in a row) onwards = 125 points)

    See above :)

Had an email from my local Harvester. They have changed the menu and are giving 50% off bill, after 6pm. Also when you reserve the table, they send you confirmation email, with free drinks on it aswell :j:j

    Good afternoon.
    I'll try to answer

Open the app every day to get bonus.I get 125 coins every day.
All receipts can be entered including vending machines, bars and restaurants.(not bus tickets like tweets did)
Up to five receipts a day but only from the last 3 days.I have entered 5 from asda for the same day.

    7500 coins=£5 amazon voucher.(I've had £30 so far)

Yes.It is easier to enter the small receipts.Only because it is easier to take a photo.
Have a look at the Faq questions by clicking the 3 bars in the top left hand corner.

Not sure about levels but I get a bonus of 480 coins for each level at the moment.

I've had a couple of goes at the sweepstakes but not yet won.You get a chance of winning some coins back by spinning a wheel if you don't win.

It takes approx 12 days to reach enough for a £5 voucher.

If anyone is getting the free pots of squidy soreen cake bars from Sada check the expiry dates on the tub lids carefully.
The 3 I got on Saturday - this was from a very big busy Sada - when I checked them this morning all have either the 27th or 28th September expiry dates on them  A rooky mistake not checking I know.

My store must have over ordered or just have very bad stock rotation

so no good for adding to the food bank bags

I rung Soreen and they said that they could have up to 28 days on them so even if you did find one with a full 28 days it probably would be no good for food banks as they need at least a months expiry. I don't know for sure but possibly if you have contacts in a nearby night shelter, homeless hostel or a womens rescue they might be happier to accept or maybe it might be worth offering via the Olio app.

anyway I am sending my 3 pots into work with OH - in itself this is annoying as OH is chief tea boy and provides milk, coffee and tea and when he is on holiday or away no one else bothers to restock
So also providing them with cake is taking the biscuit
Just got 2 just now and it was the last two on the shelf, so didn't bother looking at expiry date at the time. Just looked and they both expire on the 28th Sept
Such a palaver with the coupons too. Had to go to CS and have them put in manually.

Got accepted for M&S bank, so third time lucky for me :) Don't know why they rejected me the first 2 times

I've put a photo on the Soreen Fb page and put a comment on FB Total couponery with photos - possibly if this is a common problem we all need to do this so at least it will warn others to check their pots before buying.

It seems my store is not the only one who over ordered and has poor stock control.

I rang my Asda and they just said it is legal to sell right up to the expiry date but I came into store I could exchange or get a refund if I did it before the expiry dates - ie petrol to get back into town and 70p parking

I also had a palaver with the MOCS but I had a very kind till person and CS who just out them through manually - didn't even moan about the very pale printing as my printer ink is almost out.
Very glad I just got three

this sounds excellent - also good if you are doing small shops - sainsbobs give me bonus points for each shop I do so I split my shopping into single items or just enough to make £1 :D

Its been quite a mithery day
    - firstly finding out the Soreen bites were near expiry, then the issue with shopimum and the biscuits (fortunately quickly resolved)
I went to Morribibobs to get the new free Schwartz herb grinder and inevitably its not stocked by our small Morribobs - I keep missing these very short dated COS/CS

We also have a water leak almost opposite us, the same main that has been surveyed and mended numerous times, United Futilities informed and its on a 5 day list and hopefully the road does not subside altogether by the end of the week ...

Also this morning I had to make some 0800 calls and for these I use the main landline - its more of an ornament now since we went over totally to using the mobiles (sky wanted £8 a month for the basic talk package instead of free so we said no) I noticed the landline was very crackly. So I did a broadband line speed and our superfast fibre broad band is down to 7 mb and later it even dipped to 5mb  I got OH to ring them when he wondered home, it always takes half an hour to get through to sky. So a BT engineer is coming tomorrow morning and inevitably the landline now sounds fine :(

I've not checked the speed yet but now I am doubting myself. We only had 12 to start with so how long has it been down to 7mb - I would not have noticed if it was not for making calls and using the landline phone ...

Whenever I have problems I think its because whatever website it is does not like IE11 so I go to chrome but maybe its not always IE11 that is the issue ..

Our line is supposed to be able to support between 7.5 and 11.7 Mb with a Guaranteed Minimum Access Line Speed of 6.1 Mb so we are at the lowest level and we did drop below the minimum today

Mine were the same, out of 12, 6 had the date on as 27 Sept !!!! OH took them to work, the rest had 15 October so they will be going into the food back trolley. As you say not good :(
I, not events, have the power to make me happy or unhappy today. I can choose which it shall be. Yesterday is dead, tomorrow hasn't arrived yet. I have just one day, today, and I'm going to be happy in it. :)
