you can claim to be early 30s even when you get to 40 something or 50 something, there are worse crimes :rotfl:“Create all the happiness you are able to create; remove all the misery you are able to remove. I am not sure how useful this is - this information is way late in the day and - effectively just the flour the good one - may have gone by now.0 -
be ro 1.25kg flour 5p farmfoods

Oh well, that's it then - no use for my flour:rotfl::rotfl::T:T.
It is however fairly short date.
There are lots of good things in Farmfoods - I went looking for the ICBINB at 49p. It turned out, as half expected, to be 400g rather than 500g version that I was looking for - although I was prepared for it to be 400g. However, I saw some Kerrymaid Spread (1Kg) at £1, which for me worked out cheaper! And also better price than T Eday Value/M Savers or A's CBY 2kg vs M or T (each of those works out at £1.35:eek::rotfl: per kg.).
I don't know how the supermarkets have the nerve* to sell it at £2.00 and well above as showing on the price graph on msm - although A at £2.88 and T at £2.99:eek: - both apparently OOS at the moment - they haven't gone onto cheap RTC have they? - the tubs I bought were marked as £1.99 RRP although they were £1 in Farmfoods (a couple of days ago now so I suppose could theoretically have changed in the meantime). Obviously, my Kerrymaid, at £2 and above in supermarkets, is more valuable than what I thought!:D
The FF one is the Buttery one - not sure it's technically the same one in the supermarkets, although the prices across all of them would at times be the same/on the same sorts of offer prices if maybe at different times.
*Actually I do - they are just there to make a profit, so lacking nerve does not come into it!0 -
Apparently £2.99 is only 9% above average:eek:.
Also above average very recently were 1Kg frozen sprouts at £1. They have gone down to 80p and 75p in the past - however, given that T is currently £1, I need to get more than 10% cheaper than that down below average, even if not down to 90% of 75p. I got mine at 89p in Lidl (not of course showing on msm) thus got my more than 10% cheaper that way and without needing extra items.
EDIT: Actually, they are no longer showing T/A etc. as being "above average" price - msm has now changed to "same as average" - they must have been £1 for far too long and not on 80p for some time, so that has become average by a consistent period of a higher price:(.0 -
